You're most welcomed Calico Cat! Just try to dodge and avoid
all those addendums that go daddy wants you to buy! The folks
here and including PSUnite is more than delighted to help!

You should take a look at the PSU Stores that's available to
gain exposure as well as having your own PSU Store Forum
with other Store Owners - and learn a lot from there too!

One added thought - sorry for 2 'comments' --- you'll find many folks diversify. While building their site and working on page rankings and promotions, many sellers list items on auction sites or e-Commerce sites. The more exposure you get with the same 'store or seller name' the better it is for you!!

Very Happy Very Happy

Hello Again:

I registered my domain name (and others like it) at GoDaddy. However, I have been looking and looking and am seeing nowhere to change the DNS to here. Where do I do this?

I concur , Go Daddy is one of the best

I used to have some other budget services and they were a nightmare , while Go Daddy has a very nice economical service

I have a question for those who have used GoDaddy or are familar with their offerings.

I currently have a shopping cart with dedicated SSL hosted by EDT Hosting. I'm in the process of closing that shopping cart in favor of a PSU store. I was going to keep my domain registration and SSL with them, but now I'm thinking of moving them to GoDaddy as they are about half the price.

But I've read some horror stories about their SSL cert and problems with php sites like PSU. Can anyone verify that they are using a GoDaddy SSL with their PSU store?

Thanks.
Eric

www dummy here....
I want to open a store via PSU
My question is, where do I register the domain name to get my url and which comes first?
Opening or purchasing the store package or purchasing the url (and where)?
How do you go about transferring the domain name url to PSU?

All those nasty PRE Store questioins.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Sandy

Sandy
You can get your domain at any domain register. godaddy.com seems to be a popular favorite and they are low priced. Once you get a domain name all you have to do is add our DNS server to it.

It doesn't matter in which order you do it. I suggest getting a domain name first because a lot of the great domain names are taken and you want to make sure you get the one you want before its gone.
