No problem! They replied with 4 questions regarding exactly what was happening. Instead of calling them idiots I answered the questions even though I told them in my first email! Laughing

Absolutely!

I think they must ask the questions to send on to Support. I guess that's better than sending an email that may or may not contain the information they need to track down the problem.

I have a phone # somewhere and even talked to a live person....However, she was more of a 'receptionist' and forwarded me to voicemail after first sending me to Customer Service - voicemail.

They clearly say they do not provide any support for their 'free' services on the Yahoo greeting for the phone # and now the email folks won't talk to me over my 'situation' there - Shocked Rolling Eyes

I'm waiting for the legal to call me back - might I live that long? Wink

This is crazy, I hate relisting on Yahoo, why can't they fix this. I have to hit the button several times and always end up with this:

Registration Completed

Congratulations! You have completed the registration process. Now you're ready to bid and sell on Yahoo! Auctions.

I know what you mean - that keeps happening to me on Yahoo also. I thought it was just something wrong with my account, so I'm glad to hear another is having that problem too. I have a little over 300 items listed on Yahoo, and wow!! Relisting has really been slow going here lately. I sent off a complaint to them and was actually answered with a link for the help area (which isn't), so I just gave up and decided they are working on it.

If you use your back-page button rather than going through the registration page you won't have to redo your edit or relist. You may have to do it a couple of times, but it's faster and less annoying to back-page.

This is the email address I was able to reply back to. You may be able to get more help emailing them directly.

I asked for help because my pay pal button wasn't working. Ben said he couldn't duplicate my problem. AAHHAHAHAHH. Yes, but see its not on the auction I gave him. So I erased it, redid it and the pay pal button was working. Oye,

Welcome to PSU Auction Girl! Glad you're here!

Yes - The auction platform at Yahoo has been 'temperamental' lately - and it is annoying! I do as CuFF suggests - and hit the back button to 'redo' what I was working on vs. restart. It does tend to go thru - just has to think hard about what we want it to do!!

You gotta love it - eh? (NOT)!! Wink

2BOYSandTOYS,
Thanks for the welcome! It is nice to know that some of the problems I encounter aren't my computer, sometimes I want to throw it out the window!

The PP thing is bothering me. i hit submit and it says my shipping/payment details are not correct-even though I have my options 'saved'. The PP button is not enabled, even though it IS enabled. clicking on the enable button and resaving things doesn't seem to help...once I get an auction like this, I do have to start over in order to get PP listed as an option.

Antique malls are looking like a better venue all the time, what with the new postage rates and PP insanity!

Auction Girl - I've been there, and can suggest that while we often want to throw the 'puter out the window, we prolly ought to just walk away and find choklit instead - much cheaper in the long-run!!

justgreat - when I get that silly registration message, that's when I hit 'back' and then redo whatever I was doing, and it usually goes thru. It may take 2 times, but it does eventually go thur.

The other day, I was answering a question - and I somehow posted the answer twice ( Embarassed Cool ) - felt kind of dumb. But - when I realized what happened, I looked up to see the poor person asking the question had issues, and the question posted 3 times!! So - the system issues are 'there' and for me - they are random. I can go along for a while - and then - here it is.

Other days/times - it's every 3-4 enters. Mind-boggling 4 sure!!! I still just keep plugging along there and try to look beyond the issues - with hope that they are resolved over time. I will say - the search issue (where it would show 0 results, and I knew better) do seem to be much improved.

Perhaps when they worked and corrected search, they broke something else - eh? Confused Shocked

Hang in there folks - I do agree tho - when I can't get the 'puter to work as I want when I want - I either need to throw it out the window or walk away and get choklit!! Very Happy

this is my newest thing. BEFORE, and I mean BEFORE you list. When you hit Sell Stuff. Before you start loading pictures; MAKE SURE it says, "I accept pay pal. If it says click here to activate. Don't list. Go back start over and hit Sell Stuff again. Because if you list and that pay pal button doesn't says: I ACCEPT PAY PAL , you are waisting your time. It will not go into the auction and you have to start over. You can click all day and that pay pal button is broken and not going to work.

I told them: Ben said he couldn't get it to duplicate that error. Ha Ha Ben

Its weird for me, and I have to check myself. But please check first. If its not checked and ready to go. Go out and start over before you load your pictures and everything. Don't waste your time like I did.
