Yahoo was acting really screwy yesterday. But today worse. Ok, let me explain. LOL I try to relist, I hit submit and it says register. I go back hit submit. Goes through. I keep getting the register page.

Then it says I don't take pay pal all of a sudden.

Same with the pictures. Not working. I try again, goes through. Takes 5 times to get a picture to go through.

I keep getting the old listing edit page? Weird stuff going on. This happened back last year. It was horrible for 3 months.

I did clean out my cookies and my temporary files. Nothing. Still acting nuts.

anyone else having problems. Or is it just me? Confused

Nope - not just you!!!! I've been muddling thru this 'fun stuff' for a couple of days... Rolling Eyes Cool

And - as luck would have it - had a couple of sales - and the site was super slow for me! I can only hope they are working on it - it is frustrating.

I just keep hitting 'back' when it acts up and then try again - works for me most of the time! Shocked Confused

Flakey is an understatement! Embarassed

Yes, yes. Back key. Over and over. I thought it was the temporary, cookie stuff. They told me that last year. But nope. Slow, very slow. It takes 3 times as long.
then I got to take the crazy spammer stuff off. Super slow to go in and erase.
Also keeps saying my feedback is 0. I have over 100. Everything is messed up. Even the pictures. Keeps saying not working, but then you try again and they go through. Ok, repeating myself. LOL Sorry.

ROFL - yes ... I can so relate!!!! I just keep plugging along! Today was 'not my day' for internet 'things'...I found slowness everywhere I went!

So - I pulled weeds in my yard between rain showers - I figured....why not? Gotta get it done!

Yahoo is super flakey and there are times when I too don't have feedback - or listings!!! So - try not to stress - and then the 'fun' questions - the fun just never ends !!! Shocked Confused

It has been hit or miss for me on Yahoo for the past couple of days. I have also been having the same problems with relisting and submitting photos. I have had two sales this week even with the slowness of the site.

Yes - me too....in lieu of the 'mishaps' I still have sales! I do often wonder what sales would be like if the site functioned 'super' all the time!!

I know the buyers have to 'see' it too - many times when I search I get 0 - and I know better than that...

But - I can't complain - sales are sales - and if it's producing for me, I'll have patience - more than for sites that are not or don't have enuf to bring in buyers...

Hope we all have more sales - soon and continuous!! Very Happy Very Happy

I've had all the same problems, and sure the buyers are, too. I tried to hunt for something Thursday-every search I brought up was full of tin sign reproductions. Somebody got a lot of exposure, but i couldn't find what I wanted for all the signs!

Now me personally. Thats my best site Yahoo, plus I've built up repeats who trust me. So thats why I put up with it. Plus free. LOL

Yes, Im still getting sales. One lady did contact me that pay pal wasn't working; couldn't figure it out. But I send a bill anyway and she was happy.

One asked for particular things, said the next page of items was not coming up, I just sent the numbers myself and she found and bought. So Im still selling. I just explain about the problems and tell them the truth.

I just wish they would beef it up a tiny bit. Put in a code when you ask a question to get rid of the spammer nut. I got 6 today. And make it easier for the customer to find the pay pal button. I hear this constantly that they can't find it.

ROFL - you all crack me up!!!! Yes - I think one or the other - stabalize or upgrade - not both at once!!! Shocked Confused Assuming this is what they are doing!

justgreat - I've been 'slowly' adding that I accept GoogleCheckOut into my listings. I'm OK that they can't find the PP link, as I do prefer to send an invoice. Lately, I've been contacting them at end-of-auction, and offering them a discount if they'll use GCO - and share that they can get $10 off from a variety of merchants if they are a new user to GCO!

Every single person has 'gone this route' - offering it on both Yahoo And Ecrater and it's working well...

Now - I just hope that GCO extends the $10 - cuz that's prolly 'better' than the discount I'm offering (which ranges, based on value of sale)!!

Just another thought on more $$ to you and less to PP!!! Wink Laughing

I started to add it to my listings. Your right! I should add that when I relist. Yes, I do offer it on Ecrater, Blujay has it now. I tried talking Ioffer to no avail, and I would love to see a button added to Yahoo. Wouldn't that be great. Yes, I have had people who say they don't like Pay Pal, and I say how about Google.

I was upset because I bought something on Ebay, some of those sellers are so anti everything. I said instead of a check, how about google. Doesn't cost anything. They said no check still. Brother.

justgreat - my human experience.....change is hard for most! We tend, as humans, to be comfortable in what we do and how we do it - so making changes tends to upset a persons balance - eh?

Yes, it's been interesting promoting or trying to promote GCO! I sent a message to one buyer a week or so ago, and didn't hear from them (Y). Thought I was going to have a NPB, and all of a sudden - paid last night via PP - which is fine!!

So - I believe it's up to us to promote GCO if it makes sense for our business. As you get into it, you'll find the invoicing function needs help, but beyond that - I find it easy to use!

I wish google would promote it more by putting it on the front page - flashing or something!! Smile Smile
