Bill would give fans the right to resell on auction sites, and the old guard isn't happy

A bill just passed by the Illinois General Assembly could jolt the secondary market for sporting and concert tickets here.
The bill, now awaiting action by Gov. Rod Blagojevich, would make it legal for any Illinois resident to sell tickets for more than face value through a licensed Internet auction site, such as eBay. Currently, selling tickets above face value is legal only for the 38 ticket brokers licensed by the Illinois secretary of state's office.
