I personally have seen a dramatic increase in traffic to my items listed. I think this is primarily because you now can click on the categories listed on the left and much more easily search a persons wares to see what they have.

I also have had more sales which means the more lookers is growing into more sales overall
Cool Cool

cruzaider - I checked it out....nicely put together!

Quick question, and one that is important to sellers (and shoppers) - is OLA feeding to googlebase and froogle's google yet?

I know that sellers see this as a 'must' so figured I'd ask - let us know!!

Though not a CS person over there Erin I really don't know where all OLA feeds it's auctions or stores.

Last year the company spent a lot of $$ at live local events advertising the site which helped most sellers move a lot merchandise to new registered users.
OLA.com is the only auction site I know where they allow a link to your own web site or alternative store among your item's description Shocked

This alone has resulted in several sales at my own web store here at the PSU elgatosden.com Very Happy

I've got Pat's email address and will send your question to her .

Thanks elgato - I'm good with all marketing/promo efforts - just curious if they are feeding yet and if not yet might it be forthcoming? Wink

I'm not tech savvy so it took me a while to get up the nerve to go in and try to set up my store.

Needn't have worried, it was a breeze.

I'm geting more traffic and (blush) have done a LOT more shopping from other people's stores as well.

Speaking of shopping.... I've ordered one of the videos from this new OLA store, and will get another soon. Remember the movie CARS? This guy built real cars like the ones in the movie (you gotta love 'Mater Very Happy ), and he made videos of his work. Before you ask, I don't know him, but I do love his movie work. He did the cars for The Fast and The Furious, and even Grease. So I'm a fan, not a friend. Check out his store:

And mine, it's coming along:

Cool Cool

Though my sales at OLA haven't picked up yet I too have noticed a huge increase in page views to ALL of my items currently listed over there (15-40 views) depending on how long I post the item Very Happy

Good luck to all of the sellers over there!
