I went to your site and I didn't see any errors.
Make sure you upload the license.php file in binary mode or using Joomlaxplorer (delete the old one first)

Thanks for responding to my earlier message. I now uploaded the license to the googlecheckout folder and deleted the old license, so I'm no longer getting the "you need a license" message - but I'm still getting all the error messages when I click to confirm the transaction. Please help!

Update to my earlier post -
From looking at other messages, I figured out that my problem might be caused by having configured GoogleCheckout in sandbox mode when I had my production mode merchant id and key - so I changed to production mode, and no longer get the error messages relating to MySQL. Now, it is going through to Google Checkout, but I get this warning message:

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to smtpout.secureserver.net.25 in /home/content/p/a/t/patkinghit/html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on line 122.

Any idea about what's wrong now? Thanks for any help.

I don't think the error is related to google checkout. Our module does not reference the file class.smtp.php at all or the server smtpout.secureserver.net. You should take a look at your server settings.

I did a quick search on your error and found http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?topic=218013.msg1147768
