Does anyone know how to insert Google Adwords conversion tracking codes into the googlecheckout module?

I am not sure if there is an option for that.

I am working on the insertion of Google Analytics to the google checkout module on the next version. Maybe that is what you where thinking of.

There is also a adwords section in your settings when you are at http://checkout.google.com

I am currently considering purchasing this module but before I do, I would like to know whether analytics and adwords sales tracking work?

Can you confirm whether the analytics function works and does it highlight converting keywords?

I do not have adwords so I can't tell you how the adwords sales tracking works.

Tell me, does analytics tracking work using Fast Checkout?

Also, do you have any plans to make the module work like the Zencart one? This is a Level 2 integration but it uses fast checkout and account creation and order placement is done in Google Checkout but the Zencart database is populated when the transaction is complete.

Yes analytics should work for fast checkout since the analytics code shows up during the fast checkout page.

I have not looked at the zencart implementation. I do have plans on making fast checkout autopopulate the virtuemart backend. There are some issue though. Google checkout doesn't have a lot of fields that are required to complete. Virtuemart orders are tied to a user but if a person uses google checkout they will never have a registered account on Joomla and Virtuemart.

That's great to know and I will purchase your module in the next day or so when I am finishing off my site.

I am delighted to hear you are looking into a version that will populate VM using fast checkout, although I do understand the constraints.

I much prefer the Joomla VM platform and haven't used or built Zencart sites for a while, but the module worked really well and you could update all orders within the admin area of the Zencart site which then talked and updated Google Checkout too.
