Yahoo Sellers:

As we all work to move our listings and determine our best 'site' for the future, two things I wanted to share!

1. If you would like to have a screenshot of your feedback, and do not have a program to do this, just PM me and I'll gladly do so for you. I've done a few and am willing to do more - make sure you include your Y ID when ya write.

2. There's a poll that Angelo started to get a 'feel' for sites that appear most successful for those leaving Yahoo and moving on. The poll ends on June 1 (I think), and can be found in the groups area. You are able to vote for more than 1 site, and may or may not have interest in getting your vote in.

My disclaimer - I am a moderator on this group at Yahoo, but before anyone suggests sites were left out of the Poll - I did not create the list for the poll. The list was generated based on user input, and another moderator's compilation of data for the poll.

Therefore, please do not flame the poster...

edited: never mind..i see; my post was a request for HiBidder to be added to the poll. I received a response that it was too late to modify the poll without losing data. I can understand that. Resent a modified version of the post asking that the info just be forwarded to the sellers for their information. Maybe you could do that too, mo.

Hey all - sorry.....had to run to the fields - we got tourney play this weekend. Most 'new users' to the group or infrequent posters are moderated for a trial period. I believe the moderators there agreed jointly to not have promotional threads specific to 'one site' pass during the poll period.

I may be mistaken, but that's what I 'recall'. I typically do NOT get involved in the accept/reject function for a variety of reasons, but more than likely - unless you are a frequent poster and active participant, updates about a preferred site may not go thru.

The group was very specific in focus when we were monitored by Y technical support. We did not have ANY socializing nor discussions about alternatives, etc. The intent was to keep it focused on Y and specific issues, questions and/or technical glitches for Y.

The group's future is TBD. The group owner intends to keep it active long enough to help any needing assistance as they transition away from Y.

I share only so - if your post does not 'go live', it may be rejected. I would hope you would get a message accordingly, but I've never 'been there' - so do not know what happens...

If you can see the threads over there, I do believe both sites were mentioned by user(s). I know that HB came up in a thread/two, but can't remember for certain AQ (think so...).

Gotta go back to the fields in a few - hope this helps!

No, Sylvia, I imagine the yahoo'ers will read it here. Or Erin can relay it. After all, the grabber is in their interest. And AQ is having real sales.

I've caught myself adding a couple of disclaimers to my posts, but stopped it, and I hope you do, too!

Ain't your poll, your criteria, your site or your group. You're relaying info and if people want your head on a block for it, screw them.

Everyone would probably come up with a different poll regarding the sites we think would be most worth consideration. Probably the only way to really cover your arse is to have a 30-site poll and asbestos suit!

Poll isn't closed yet so no results yet; dunno if you can see it if you're not a member of the group.

Nobody wants anybody's head anywhere. Was simply wanting to include HiBidder & there are others that could have provided their own info. I've had my other posts published before, just forgot they were moderated. Member of many yahoo groups---hard to remember which are moderated.

Yahoo Auctions sellers group was a group I have always read, but never posted to. Every time I wanted to post a problem, someone had already beaten me to it. Yahoo seemed to read the groups postings and was more responsive to the posts than anything I sent to Yahoo.
It has always been a forum that was focused on information, and I really liked that. It will be missed.

Lurkey - you crack me up!!! I know I shouldn't, and quite frankly - I really don't care if I get flamed....but of recent, there does appear at times to be more read into posts than intended, and I just wanted to 'deter that' - so .... sawwwwwy as we used to say and hear on a regular basis!!

Mo and Sylvia - I've recommended PSU to Yahoo members of the group many times. I'm very open and willing to recommend any posts over here to the group - and I do suspect some have joined here and others lurk. We've referred a time/two/three to the Auction Site Count here as one of many elements to explore alternative sites.

I too don't know if you can see the poll if you're not a member of the group. I am more than happy to share the results here also when the poll closes.

I have no issue referring Yahoo users 'here' to read information. I will NOT, as a moderator there suggest ANY 'auction' site. I feel that's a conflict of interest (I'm saying what I mean and meaning what I say). At the Yahoo group, we ALL work hard to minimize cheerleading and hidden agendas. For the most part, the group and the efforts are and have been very helpful to me.

CB - I will never put you on ignore - I'd miss ya way too much!!! ROFL....
