Actually - as I think thru what skillet has to say and what we've all experienced - this is probably worthy of it's own thread! I'm 100% OK with all folks expressing their experience and opinions - what 'get's my goat' is when there is opposing views - it all goes 'sideways'!!!

So - no harm....no foul! I just want to be certain that any Y folks that come here and need help getting their feedback into a picture can 'find that offer'!!!

Cuff's post so reminds me of WYSIWYG - back from the pre-excel days. I've always used that term to describe me...even in job interviews. I suspect every member here has found a moderator or two (or 10) that was just plain unpleasant - either in opinions, style, responses, perceptions, etc.

And...many of skillet's points are possibly true. Where there is a disconnect, IMO, is skillet writes in an ALL manner. Intended or not, States or not - it's there. Where CuFF and I (and you thru your example) have different thoughts - we've determined thru life experience - ALL doesn't apply to any group, any type, any site, any forum, etc. In other words, I respect folks at face value, until there's a reason to not.

So - IMO - not ALL mods are biased. And not ALL mods offer preferential treatment to friends/family. This is where this thread can go off to the left, right or south in a big hurry!

You're not posting facts - you're posting your opinion, which you are welcome to. Just take it to another thread - since this one is not about YOUR facts on moderators.

Also, I'm not a moderator here - I'm a moderator on Yahoo. That's were the term moderator first came up and where it's gone off topic.

If it appears I have less or no patience for your views - it's true. You perceive your opinions as facts, and the balance of us respect the differences in our ideas, opinions and thoughts.

I again ask you to start your own thread, and have a discussion there on your collected or perceived FACTS relating to moderators. Quite frankly, your opinion of me, or me as a moderator or moderators in general doesn't really align with this topic, even IF it's gone off-topic and is now coming back.

Thank you for confirming Carol. Members like skillet make me grateful for moderators in general.

Well Skillet is now gone. He has had many ids in the past here at PSU which many of them have been banned for one reason or the other. I tried to give him the benefit of a doubt with this id but I guess he hasn't changed.

I think the original topic for this thread is great so I am unlocking this thread so we can resume topic.
