Many of you know about the idea of networking auction sites and the concept behind it. We have seen a few attempts at the networking. Most of the time the idea is managed by auction site owners or business owners looking for ways to make a profit, not a way to make the concept work. Profits are great but wouldn't it better if participants actually profited from the networking idea too?
When I decided to set up an independent network, I didn't want it to be a repeat of what had transpired and failed in the past. I was looking for something better, something that would eventually lead to success and profits. An idea that could grow and evolve with e-commerce trends. Now and in the future.
UnitedBest is what I came up with. Buyers, E-commerce, Sellers and Traders United.
It's not just about auction sites...it's about business and what we need to do to succeed. Whether it is independent stores, auctions, affiliate programs, direct selling or trading, we could all use help that comes from networking.
The main group of auction sites that are listed on UnitedBest were hand picked and have certain qualities that are mandatory for the networking concept to work. The main strength is the owners' forward thinking. They understand that networking is how business succeeds. Lack of networking results in struggling and ultimate failure of many businesses.
Without going into a lot of detail, the main idea is being United and having a focal point to work from....that being UnitedBest.
If you think you might be interested in the concept, you can contact me here via PM or by clicking on the UnitedBest banner in my signature. It will take you to the site where you can contact me via email.
For sellers, if you list on any of the participating core sites and want to place a banner or link on UB, let me know. We can discuss the particulars of what and how.
Independent store owners can also contact me to find out what UB can do to help promote your site.
Auction site owners....although UB is not accepting any new core sites, I will be implementing a banner rotation for 'new and promising' sites. Certain conditions and restrictions will apply. |

One thing I forgot to mention to everyone that emailed me:
If you have a store on any of the Core auction sites, you can have a banner placed in rotation for free. (Limited space...so first come first served.) Only one banner per person allowed. So if you have more than one store here is what you may want to do, set up a free website, a Squidoo account or a blog. Include links and info about all your auction stores and your independent stores on this site. Make a banner for UB . This way people will have total access to every store you have. Plus you can do extra advertising through the blogs, sites or Squidoo.
If you don't have stores but are simply selling on any of the Core sites, you can still do the banner rotation by building a blog, free site, etc. It doesn't have to be stores to add a banner to UB.
If you have an independent store but aren't selling on any of the Core auction sites, you can still have a banner added.( Limited space...first come, first served.) Free will require a reciprocal link/banner to UB. Paid will not require a link. Cost is minimal.
I'm sure I haven't hit all the bases yet. So I will keep updating as they come to mind.
If you have any questions, just ask. I'm always around! |

Glad to see you're moving forward w/ UB, and that acceptance is quality controlled. |
