How long does it generally take for item to show up in search on ioffer? I know it says 24 hours, but I have items I listed 3 days ago that are not showing up! I just started listing there and don't know if it is worth it or not. I listed 9 items 4 days ago. After about 10 hours, they showed up, but since then, nothing!

Hi MoodyMama,

Can't give you a definitive on this. Just curious are you adding keyword? If not I would give this a try to see if it makes a difference.

Yes, I am. But its not only search, they don't even show up in my shop! The only place I can see them is in my current inventory on my part of the page.

sometimes it can take up to a week, they will show up in your personal inventory, but takes a very long time to show up in the search, even longer to even get a hit, lol, but good luck to you.

I look at io just to get my daily laugh. Ex-Ebayers suggesting auctions. Right……………… The items would show up after the auction ended. Laughing

My items generally show up in the search within a half a day. I don't know why they don't put items into the search immediately. It seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to have them appear there instantly as they do on other sites. Your case is the first I've heard of no items showing up for many days. Did you say your items are not even showing up in your store? They may not be listed at all then. Try re-listing your items. That sounds like a glitch to me. I have been selling well, but I've run into many frustrating technical glitches like that here and there.

My sales here or anywhere else have not even come close to the quickness of sales I've made on Ebay. I hate to say that because I can't stand Ebay one bit. As long as your items are showing up in your store, I wouldn't worry too much about them showing up in the search. You probably need to promote your items hard on other sites just to get any real traffic across your item pages anyway.

That depends on how often iOffer update its sitemap, where a site keeps a list all the URLs..

Post your store link in your signature. It will help your items discvered by search engines faster.

I really hate to say this because I don’t like io and I use to help new people. Try next time listing your items and when it shows up in the search then add a picture. Always worked for me. Smile
