Hi Mark - Bonanzle!
I just created my booth on the Bonanzle.
I need to learn more about the "BONANZA". It's not very clear on the website.
Can I see how many customers checked my lists ?

Best regards,
C.Engelke

C, A Bonanza is set by Your Bonanzle Page. You can schedule 1 x a month from 1-3 hours for special discounting etc & be highlighted on the selling page. Look at one I have set for next month it even shows on my store page when & how much I am doing my discount. I just had one on the 23rd for 23% off & it was great.

To check your stats, go to stats on Your Bonanzle Page. It will show how many views per item have been seen.

Hope this helps, Bobbi

Hello everyone!

We have opened a thread within our forums asking our users how many Bonanza's they would like to have per month (1 or 2). The majority would like to have two per month so yesterday Bill programmed each user to have a total of two Bonanza's per month (another example of feedback = pronto results!).

What are Bonanza's? IMHO......another addiction! From Bonanzle.com:

What is a Bonanza?

At Bonanzle, a Bonanza is a short-term super-sale. Twice a month (if you're good) we'll let you dominate the entire website with your wonderful presence. For a few hours we will let all visitors know that you are having a sale, that they had better check it out, and that all in all, we think you are pretty great. You choose the time to put your goods up for sale. We direct site traffic to your booth. Magic happens.

Hope everyone had a great day. I am excited to see what new items Bill will add to Bonanzle tonight! Follow the progress from the link, "What's New" on our home page!

Thanks,
Mark

Hi All,

I believe that awhile back, someone had asked about how we would go about charging fees? Smile

I should probably start by mentioning that I'm not 100% sure that we will start charging fees on September 1st. There is still a lot of work going into the site every day, and it's going to be tight to try to get any fees in there. Plus, we're leaning toward giving sellers their first month free anyhow, so one doesn't have to try to determine whether Bonanzle is worth paying for before they've had some time to spend on the site.

That said, we will be charging fees at some point before too long. To do this, we'll just go the Etsy route, where we send customers an invoice every month based on their number of sales. If it doesn't get paid, the seller's account would eventually become deactivated (probably after a month). Sellers could pay for their invoice through either GC or Paypal.

I think that someone had also asked "what about the situation where someone doesn't pay their account, gets it deactivated, and starts another account?" A lot of ifs there. We don't really think there are going to be but a few people that try lame things like that, but we do have ways of knowing who is setting up duplicate user accounts, and when we need to put the smack down on system abusers, we will.

My personal opinion is that if you create a friendly site and give people the help they need when they need it, you can have a lot less problems with timely payments than if you mistreat your sellers. Hopefully time will prove me right on that count.

Bill

I've been playing around in my store and I have a request. Is it possible in the batch edit option to be able to pull up items by category and then also have the option to move a group to another category.

For example... I have a ton of costumes and they are coming up under clothing, but I need to go into every item and sub categorize them.

Just a suggestion.... thanks

Love the Site so far!!!!

Here is what I would do; From your sell tab open the Batch Editor. Select all your booth items that you would like to customize with Costumes and click on "Show all possible options." You will see two text fields, one which will insert text at the beginning of selected items, one which will insert text and the end. Enter text such as "Costumes," in either field. Then save. Then go to your advanced tab within your sell booth and create a custom category of "Costumes." Now every time someone searches for Costumes your items will come up. Additionally they will also come up in clothing. More bang for your buck Very Happy

I think the only thing I would mention is that it's starting to get a bit crowded now. There are only 20 items per page, so going through live booths or recently listed items is getting to be time consuming. Maybe even smaller thumbnails or something.

I can already tell that the Bonanzas are going to be a nightmare. At 2 per month, if a lot of booths have them, it'll be too much. I see booths with 2 or 3 items having Bonanzas. What's the point there?

Don't mean to be a downer, but looking down the road, there will so many Bonanzas no one will care about them.

I plan on waiting until I have a large group of similar items listed before I do a Bonanza. Not sure what the point is with one or two items unless it is "practice". Any thoughts anyone?

Sit, remember you can view 100 items per page, upper right on anyone's page. Makes for easier viewing if someone has 700 items only 7 pages to peek. I had a Bonanza when others had theirs, no conflict or nightmare. It's only a few hour events & depends on what your selling or buying. One time a group did one at the same time. I was out of town or I would have visited but they say it worked great.

Sit/Cabin, seems to me, it depends on the needs of the seller and prices of those couple items.

I have tried to convince them that sub-categories are a must, so far no response. Without sub-categories I can't see the site making it.

I should have said upper left after search to modify 100 per view.

Bill you can sub-categories at: Sell/ then the tab Advanced Options/ then Custom Booth Categories and it's a double search for free.

Wait it's all free right now....lol
