Any entity that takes away from Fleecebay is a good thing !!! Rock on I-Offer !!!!!

ioffer is a mess. They can't keep their accounting correct, their customer service is worse then ebay and they do not list their phone number so that you can actually get a live person. They charged me the same seller fees (for the same items sold) two months in a row and like an idiot, I paid it. Now Customer service doesn't even want to speak to me. Half of my sales, which haven't been much have been to dead beat bidders, and you can't even file to get your fees back for 21 days. I DO NOT recommend ioffer.

BTW, I have given them to the end of the day to address my issue or I will dispute through my CC company.

I know this is sheer repetition but it is possible that I-Offer never imagined or prepared for such an influx of sellers & buyers, we're one in the same. They might need to iron out a few things and increase employee counts. Fleecebay has had 11 years and still can't get it right.

from what I gather by trying to find the phone number is that they have gone to great lengths to make sure you cannot contact them via telephone. The one listed with the BBB is phoney... Belongs to a company in Tennesse. And when you fine a phone number in other forums... They number has been disconnected. Doesn't give me warm fuzzies.

There was quite a bit, but nothing that alarmed me. It has been around a bit. Working at a turtle pace and low membership, it has come around as a jackrabbit in listings with the higher influx of membership and it still is working at a turtle pace. I haven't had any problems but then again...I didn't just upload & relax. I tweaked everything and added to google base, I surf the event rooms and I check the wanteds. One really has to apply themselves at any new project in life to be successful. jmho

My concerns have nothing to do with the lack of sales as much as how they address a problem. I posted my problem to CS 10 days ago. As poor as the CS on ebay is, that would have been taken care of with one phone call.

I don't know though, I have accessed CS twice and both times they got back with me in 1/2 hour or less. I would definitely try it again but maybe you have elevated the complaint with the BBB?

iOffer's listing count is fraudulent.

They count items from accounts that have been closed. They also count multiples of an item as seperate listings.

But if you are comfortable selling on a site that permits the same of ILLEGAL prescription drugs, counterfeit items and pornography galore, then go for it.

The only thing they can state for sure, is that in their short time in business, they've screwed over almost the same percentage of sellers as ebay has.

Not a reputation to be proud of, in my opinion.
