Hi. I'm sorry you're having problems with ioffer. I noticed your account is new, and that you have several unrated sales in your feedback. Someone mentioned that they will freeze an account if you're new and suddenly have a number of unrated sales. I don't know if this is what happened in your case. It looks like your account was closed there now. It says you are no longer a member. I would not give up on trying to get your 20 bucks back if I was you. It takes a little patience when you're getting started there... a little bit of frustration, but I am doing good. It takes about 3 or 4 days for me to get a response from customer service.

I thought iOffer was free for everything but the FVF and misc listing enhancements. I assume since you had to pay $20 for a seller account that it's not free?

Hi,Sittingon20G.You need to pay $20 to update yourself as a seller account firstly, then you can list the items. The $20 is still on your account.I am also new on ioffer, but disappointed by it.

As I understand their policy, you only have to pay $20 to sell if you do not wish to give your personal credit card information. to them. I entered my credit card information on their web site, so I have not paid them anything to sell either.

File a claim with Paypal to try and get $20 back. If you funded the Paypal payment with a credit card, initiate a chargeback with your credit card issuer.

something sells pretty fishy in here........

Not directed at you, usoldnet

usoldnet: You need to contact ioffer directly using their contact form. I have done this before to close one of my accounts so I could move my feedback to a separate ioffer account. Response was quick for me.

Hope this helps.

-Tom

I have been selling without giving them any upgrade money. Here is their policy from their website:

"Do I need a credit card to register?

No. You may register without using a credit card. However, in order to list items for sale you will need to either (1) place a credit card on file, (2) make a payment via PayPal of at least $20 or (3) send in a pre-payment of at least $20 (for seller fees incurred in the future).

When you place a credit card on file, it will be authorized for $1.00 to validate the credit card. This is NOT a fee, as the authorization will expire and your credit card will NOT be charged."

I think the only way a seller will make it on iOffer is if they don't accept offers. I went over there and looked at 20 items. The buyers making offers are so rude. They offer 20% of the asking price and get mad if the seller does not accept the offer. Wow.
It looks like buyers from all over go there though. Does iOffer have a shipping calculator? I forgot to look at that when I was looking. The last items I looked at didn't allow me to enter a zip. I think that would sure be a good site for sellers wanting to sell internationally.

I don't know what you were looking at but I have been on the sight as a seller for years and I don't have the problem you think exists. Do I get some lowball offers? Yes. Do I care? No. Since you are not a seller, why make this your beef?

If you are looking at a lot of the items from China, I have seen all types of offers being made. So be it, as it seems to be a dog eat dog in some of these stores. As for some of the discussion on this thread. I'm sure there is a lot more to it than the rant we are reading. This seller was tossed for a reason and doesn't like it.

As for the $20, a seller must pay that if they don't want to leave a valid CC and it will be used to pay FVF's if they look like they might skip town when you are thrown off. iOffer does not need fallinlovebrand's $20 and I'm sure it will be refunded minus the fees for selling.
