Hi, I'm new here.I've been on ioffer for 2 years I was suspended from ioffer 4 days ago because a user contacted me on my item and begged me to give it to her for half price. In her guestbook I wrote i would do it but on my listing would send her an invoice for $2 since ioffer fees are so high and I later got a message saying you can't do that. Now my account is restricted and all my listings are removed. i admit thinking about it now it wasn't too smart on my part. Is there any way I can get back on? will they really only suspend me for 30 days. They haven't answered any of my emails. Thanks

That's what really annoys me with iOffer. It seems to actually allow offers is a terrible idea. Who has time to negotiate all day with a buyer? I've looked at over 20 listings on there and it's always the same. Plus, if customers have any idea what wholesale is, they offer wholesale and then demand sellers accept it. I saw some that were fair, but in a pile of super low offers.

Thank goodness they allow sellers to offer items without the hassle of offers. The only thing weird with that is it goes against the whole idea of their site.

I have never had that problem on iOffer. I get plenty of customers wanting free shipping and 10 of something shipped to Australia, Singapore etc. And I say:

Thank you for your offer. Please consider my counteroffer of xx.xx.

I also have it posted on my selling policies that offers that contain more one item are the ones that get discounted. The more you buy, the more I reward my customers and I tell them that.

But I usually will round down to the nearest dollar to make the sale if they are polite.

I have 25 completed transactions this month, 10 so far have left feedback.

Not FeEbay numbers yet, but rising. I spend about an hour a day working on iOffer.

Well, anyways, Good Luck on where ever you sell at.

-Tom

did you ever e-mail them and did they respond? I emailed them a few times and they have not got back to me yet. I'm thinking maybe I should tell them that i want my account closed since they are not responding. It might work against me though. I would think that they might reopen due to me being a seller for 2 years. I have a balance I need to pay by tomorrow and don't even know if I should do that if they won't ever reinstate my account.

If you are suspended and your account is behind by not paying, they usually will not re-instate an account. Why would they if you don't follow the rules or pay the fees you agreed to?

Put yourself on the other side for a moment- you have a site many others use, charge only a FVF on completed transactions, have a memebr who breaks the rules by negotiating in the guestbook AND has not paid the bill on their account.

How would you feel about that?

I was suspended for telling others to pay their buyers $1.00 to get feedback. Thats cus ioffer limits your account if you sold 4 things and no feedback. I got suspended for this. It took them 7 days to respond to my email. I then had to promise to never do it again and I was back in action. Just email them and wait, then bow down and tell them you will never do it again blah blah.

My account was reinstated 4 days later because I emailed them like you did and told them I wouldn't do it again. Thanks

Don't break the rules on any site and you won't have trouble.

You were selling in a guestbook- there is a pop-up that tells you what can go in a guest book when you leave a message there.

Any site will give you trouble if you don't follow the rules on each.
