PostPosted: Sun Aug 17, 2008 2:55 am   Post subject: Question iOffer Shipping Fees #1  Back to top

First of all, I am asking my question in this PSU forum because the iOffer Help/Clubs/Community sections are a maze and a puzzle to me, and I feel like I'm wading through molasses when trying to find anything substantive.

Okay, the question;

I actually got a couple of queries related to one of my listings on iOffer this week.

It was a listing I had pulled from eBay using Mr. Grabber.

On eBay I use the shipping calculator, so my imported iOffer listings come up with no shipping fees stated.

I really hate to spend time editing 130+ listings to add a stated shipping fee, especially since the chances of selling them are slim to none. Zzz

So I went back to the listing setup system. There I find that a seller has two choices: 1) "flat rate shipping fee" or 2) "pay actual shipping costs."

How does the "pay actual costs of shipping" work in a listing on iOffer? Confused

I appreciate your help---

If you sell identical items it is easy to determine the actual cost...

If you have several items of different sizes and different weights then you will have to predetermine the cost of each item before listing, OR use a good shipping calculator

Simple.. you determine the actual cost of shipping your product from you to each USPS Shipping Zone. List those numbers and when someone offers to buy you include the shipping costs with the price.

An item may cost
$2.25 Zone One
$3.15 Zone Two
$4.25 Zone Three
$4.74 Zone Four
Outside the US zones are determined by the actual country and code it is shipped to...
