Hello Folks!
For those that haven't heard about one of the other promising venues that is a viable alternative to eBay, I'd like to present the Atomic Mall. Brand new as of July 1st, 2008, the Atomic Mall offers an outstanding experience for both buyers and sellers alike.
The following image represents the Atomic Mall information page:
With the additional recent changes that eBay has implemented, and with the upcoming eBay changes that have yet to be announced, the time is right to explore those alternative sites that work. I invite you to explore the Atomic Mall today! |

Far less than the fees at eBay. There are no listing fees whatsoever. Final fees are based on a sliding scale. See below:

Get good feedback and be rewarded with Home Page exposure
That's a smart incentive! Good luck with Atomic Mall! |

It is a good incentive. And, feedback is a two-way avenue at Atomic Mall, as it used to be at eBay. |

Hey SF , I appreciate the plug. It's nice to see enthusiasm in here for more than just one site.
And I can understand your enthusiasm. Selling nine items within 24 hours is a pretty cool accomplishment. I don't think I did that even back in my eBay days. WTG!

I'm glad you think so CuFF. I hope others think so as well. I've always felt that Sellers should be rewarded for providing outstanding service, and that's just one of those small things we can do to let others know they are performing above and beyond.
Every Tuesday our top-rated Seller gets the "Seller Spotlight" all to themselves for an entire week on the front page. It's hard to miss, and really boosts a store's visibility with buyers. |

No problem Mike. Just wanted to let others know about Atomic Mall, and the fact that it is genuine alternative to the ever more restrictive eBay.
Speaking of restrictive, yet more pain is in the pipeline for sellers at eBay. Here's a link to additional constraints and burdens that eBay sellers will face starting in September. That kind of attitude towards sellers makes departure from eBay more important than ever.
It's good to know that a place like Atomic Mall has sales occurring now, and offers fresh opportunities, without the insanity that eBay now dispenses on a daily basis. Buyers and sellers can conduct their business successfully, without interference. I like that! |

Yikes. Sometimes I really do get confused by the powers-that-be over there. It's almost like they're inventing new ways to alienate members. Really scary.
Anyway, if our traffic numbers are any indicator, I think we're headed in the right direction. The newest QC chart has me pretty optimistic. I know we have a ways to go, but I do like the way it's trending:

well, tried to visit Atomic Mall the other night but i'm on rural dial-up and it took so long to load i gave up. somewhen we hope Bell South will find the time to send a truck out to our tiny community, hook us into DSL and allow us to catch up with everybody. i'll have to wait until then to check out Atomic Mall. |

Hey there Nebteh, I appreciate your visit.
Yeah, keep checking in with us if you will. Our front page is admittedly a little "heavy", but we're taking steps to lighten it up substantially as we move toward Atomic Mall 2.0.
I realize a lot of users are still on dialup, and so we're streamlining some things with you in mind. Of course, if you can weather the storm of that first initial dialup load, everything from there on is cached in your browser, so subsequent pages will load much faster. But I do hear you and it's an area that we're addressing.
Cheers,
Mike |
