Hello guys,

I saw some real interesting things here on PSU and they all lead to why people are leaving eBay, and that’s because of their fees… now from what I saw on my post people thought our fees were too but toO! High… Now (purple_reading_giraffe) had brought to my attention just that and to do some research & I did.

So we have decided to lower our FVF’s and make it easier on sellers.

I also understand that most sellers are leaving eBay and have yet to find that website that makes them feel happy to sell their items (products) on. I understand dearly how you feel so we will put some extra time on coming up with new features that would allow you to keep your feedback from eBay (working on it), do contest and few other things for our members to enjoy.

I really like to thank everyone here on PSU for having such honest opinions.

Keep on improving it, you are in the right direction.
I would omit, that wording.. ebay alternative etc.
Its been used to much and really means nothing. You do Not need it

You've been finally up since June. We get it already. Unless you have something big to offer, there are already too many sites out there. Maybe try advertising outside of PSU.

eBay has announced that, come next month, PayPal will not only be the preferred method of payment in the US, it will be virtually the only method, period.

Checks and money orders no longer allowed

What’s changing with payments on eBay?
Beginning in late October 2008, checks and money orders will no longer be allowed as payment methods on eBay. All items appearing on eBay.com must be paid for using either:

PayPal (funded by PayPal account balance, credit card, debit card, bank account, PayPal Pay Later, PayPal Buyer Credit or eBay gift certificate)
Credit or debit card payment to a seller (through a seller’s Internet merchant account)
ProPay
Payment upon pickup
In January 2009, all of the approved electronic payment methods will be integrated into eBay checkout. For example, if a seller offers credit or debit card as a payment option, buyers will be able to directly enter their credit card information securely in eBay checkout and their payment will be directly routed to the seller’s Internet merchant account.

We are also working with other electronic payment providers currently included in our Accepted Payments Policy to integrate their services into eBay checkout in 2009.

There goes your right to freedom of choice. I don’t exactly think this is legal and I don’t see why buyers and sellers aren’t running away from eBay as fast as their feet will carry them.
