Is anyone else having a problem with getting to the OLA site? I can't get it to come up no matter how I try to get there. NOT having any problems with any other site I need to get to. Yes, I've done all the regular stuff............dumped, cleaned and restarted, etc.

That's what I use too but still can't even get the page to come up. The cirlce in the address bar just goes round and round. I've tried links, typing in www.ola.com, www.onlineauction.com and what ever else I can think of. I got in the morning but now nothing...........

Sorry I am not computer saavy enough to help you out here, hopefully someone will come along soon to give you some tips. It comes up for me wether or not I use www.ola.com or www.onlineauction.com. I checked their boards and I don't see anywhere where this problem is posted. Maybe you could try to email the customer support people at support@onlineauction.com

Is anyone else having trouble getting into Ola today? I have tried everything possible to get in. Its almost like the site is closed down. I did a google search yesterday and typed in "Ola.com search engine trouble" I did find that Ola has known about this since 2006 and made promises of repairs then. I do enjoy the way this site is set up, but this is scary to find out how long the fixes have been promised. Now I can't get in again today to cancel some auctions and list elsewhere. Another Founding member here not happy!!!

It may not necessarily be OLA fault. At Kaqoo we have seen the highest ever traffic across the network over the last few days. It seems like the search crawlers are going bananas in their war.

Hey rhinestonecowgirl!

Just checked on OLA from my NY location. The site does come up when I enter http://www.onlineauction.com into my browser. Cool

However, the site does not come up when I use http://onlineauction.com. Surprised

Sometimes, this type of issue is DNS related, so to check that, I used OLA's IP address 205.234.170.164. When I enter http://205.234.170.164 into my browser. I receive the following unusual message: Shocked

Hi cammyrk!

I just checked, and I was able to get to the site, however, it took approximately 20-30 seconds before it would come up. Surprised

Thanks Science, I have tried everything, along with cleaning cookies. I can go anywhere else. I just keep getting message site unavailable for Ola. We'll see what tomarrow brings.

For folks having difficulty accessing OLA from their location, I have set up a proxy server that will allow you to access OLA, although slower than you're used to. This is good if you need to get into OLA to conduct your business. Smile

The proxy server is here
. Use PSU for user name and PSU for password (uppercase).
Best of luck! Cool

I was able to get on OLA via the link on the Auction Site Count page, although the site was kind of slow to load. Rolling Eyes
