Hi power sellers,
I am a former power seller and former store owner on ebay. I had 100% feedback until 3 unreasonable buyers left me negatives. My biggest frustration is that I have a refund policy and if the buyer will just return the item, I will give them their money back, plus shipping if it's my fault. I'll tell you about the straw that broke the camel's back. I sold 2 dolls to a buyer. Apparently I missed a couple of imperfections on them. She emailed me and I gave her back $20.00 to compensate. Then she emailed me again and said she found other problems with the dolls. I told her to send them back to me and I would give her a full refund inc. shipping both ways. She didn't want to send them back, but she wanted me to give her a full refund and she would keep the dolls. I said no, and she threatened to leave me neg. feedback, which she did, and it was nasty. I cut and pasted the 12 threatening emails she sent me to the ebay trust and safety dept. They said they found nothing wrong with what she did to me. I was fuming. In a moment of frustration, I bought some of my own items and sold them to myself to give myself pos. feedback. Well, I got a message from ebay that my acct had been suspended for 30 days. I had bids on many of items and I had sold about 20 items on which I was waiting for payment. I know what I did was not right, but I feel like they allowed other people to trash my name and reputation publically, and they had allowed a woman to try to extort money from me. Then they caused me to lose a substantial amount of money by suspending my acct. I am so mad at them (this is an understatement). I don't know what to do with the rest of my inventory. |
