For myself I hesitate to join sites not located in the US. With the high cost of postage to ship internationally I look for any site located in my own country. I do wish you the best of luck though.

I do understand what you mean about postage I try to keep my postage as low as possible and offer a postage discount to , as I have sold to people in USA .

Hi to all,
Well despite having the worst two weeks of my life having lost my Father suddenly in not very nice circumstances.

I,m very happy to say okbidnow is still growing we now have 40 members and 1751 Auctions not bad for nearly 8 wks online , we thank our Buyers & Sellers who have stuck by us and surpported us so much working very hard Advertising our Site & Listing.

I would like to Thank Everyone who sent me Messages of Condolences Thank You one and All.

Hi To All ,

I,m very pleased to say okbidnow is still growing with 50 members a few of who are ex Ebayers fed up with their fees ok 50 members may not seem a lot to some people but as we have only been online just over 9 wks its quite good going. Very Happy

As its Christmas we are in the Christmas spirit on okbidnow with our very own Pantomine in the Forum any one can join in its all for fun.
All so we have a great Competition to win a very very nice 9ct white gold ring with 3 nice cz stones set into it.All you have to do is register in the Forum to get an ID number to give to your potential registers/customers.
Then the easy bit is to get 20 new buyers or sellers to sign up first to do so will win the ring.
Now thats not hard is it. Very Happy

We have all so got some Freebies of keyrings when you join okbidnow these are not your cheap rubbish oh no these would make great Stocking Fillers.
Our Fees what we do have which is only minimum have now been reduced you lucky people don't forget you can upload 3 pictures on listings for free and your allowed to upload 5 pictures all together.

The last thing is to wish every one on PSU A Very Happy & Peaceful Christmas from all at okbidnow . Lynik.

I forgot to say all so since we have been on line up to today we have had 70 Sales on okbidnow , that is how hard our Sellers and buyers have worked. I know I have thanked them before but they deserve so much Thanks for all their hard work and support they have given us. Very Happy

Hi, Lynik! Congratulations on your growth.

Can you help me figure out why this search:
All Items by Bids only shows 22 listings, open or closed, with bids? Are most of the 70 multiples of the same item? But if so, wouldn't the listings show more than one bid? I am mystified...

Most of the Sales have been Buy it Now so they will not show as bids Very Happy

.. I hope that has cleared that up for you and your no longer Mystified .

Well done, Lynik! I'm going to guess that this is you:

And looking at those first 3 items, I see they are labeled as purchased with BuyOut. Those same items do not show up in the completed items search. I have been playing with the search functions, and it appears that I can search for closed items with buyout enabled, but the buyout icon and tag are not appearing on them once closed (however fewer show up than show without the buyout search limitation, and that search function does appear to work correctly on open items), however sold items only appear in the closed item list if they are those sold by auction bids and not by using buyout, apparently. This ProBid "feature" makes it rather difficult to easily check on sales and to "hype" a site's successfulness for its sellers. If there is any "switch" you can turn on to make these items show up in completed item searches, it would be greatly to your benefit. It's so nice when I can just link a search that shows how well a site is doing... It would be very tedious to go seller by seller through the feedback. Seems very silly for these items to "disappear" from the closed search function even though they are clearly still in the database (as evidenced by the feedback page links).

Yes that is me Embarassed

I quite understand what you mean by buyout Items not showing we thought the same thing and we have been in touch with Pro bid and hopefully this will be sorted out soon or at least they can tell us why they do not show as like you said they are still clearly in our system. Thank you for pointing that out and we do appreciate it.
So hopefully they will find the right switch to flick. Laughing

There is a slight problem with the search bar and PHPprobid have said it will be sorted for the next update.
All so we are getting some new shop templates to brighten up the stores.
