I am working on a new site. I'm not going to call it an eBay alternative because it's going to be an entity of it's own. I'm working hard on it, and will be launching it soon ( as in by the end of the month ). This is not a small project, I'm aiming quite big with it.
I need sellers. If you would be interested in being one of the first to test out a new site and have a new place to sell, please contact me and let me know.
I'm not ready to give full details yet, but will give some to those that would like to be a seller.

Thanks

P.S. Forgive me if I'm slow to respond, it's late and I'm tired.

Hi audaciously.

I wish you good luck with your project. I'm only curious as to whether it will be a PHPprobid-based site, or if it is being built from scratch with in-house code.

Can you reveal that much?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi AtmoicMall. Thanks for the encouragement, I'm a bit nervous but excited too.

It will not a PHPprobid site; and, yes, there will be some in house customization.
The web site, itself, isn't the only thing that will set it apart. I have developed a full scale advertising campaign to go with it.
This is a large project.

I'm glad to hear you're not calling it an "Ebay alternative". I myself think that makes a site appear to sound cheap since alot of the sites are using that phrase. That phrase makes me think the site owner is saying "We are just a second rate site".

Sales are slow everywhere. When sales are slow it is good time for website upkeep, updates, venue changes and or restructure.

I already found my new venue and home and it isn't ebay. Very Happy

I agree with you. That's not a good thing to say about ones own site.

dsouth -- I'm glad you found a new home and are happy with it. I hope it works out well for you. I've tried so many ( your new home included ), and they didn't work for me. But, what I'm currently doing is working for me; I'm seeing sales and interest pick up already Very Happy. And I'm so thankful!

It does sound interesting, but I am wondering what country it will be based from. The USA or elsewhere. I would be interested in listing if it is in the USA.
