Are you fed up with E bay's massive cost to you....fee's for listing...fee's for selling....fee's for the sale value....!!

WELL STOP

At Hotbids4u we don't charge for listing, we don't ask you to supply us with mountains of information and credit cards to sign up...it's Free, and if you want to sell, we only ask for a small fee at the end of the sale, far less than you would pay with E-Bay

Flexible auctions, for a flexible world....So sign up today and remember to tell your friends

http://www.hotbids4u.com

This site launches officially next week, but that gives you time to upload all your items, get ready, and tell all your friends/customers to come on over.

I have an auto relist option so don't worry about the auction ending, and with no fee's...happy days

VERY nice site!

A couple of things - in your 'Help' the categories have been duplicated

Where's the fee schedule? Rolling Eyes

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes I am currently working through the mistakes on the site, it had to be reloaded due to a server problem, so I have opened it up before the grand opening, so people can point out the errors before we go live.

In answer to your question, there is one flat fee for sellers, it is 5% of the final sale price, or a minimum of $2.50, that is the only cost you will pay through this site.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the speedy response....but the $2.50 minimum on a $14 item just doesn't make it for me...best of luck with your site though! It really is nice and thought out (eg not 'garbagey' like OLA, etc.)...

Ditto, with all the free fixed price alternatives $2.50 is very high, especially when that's about what I pay ebay for a $25 sale.

What do you offer that would make your site worth paying what I already pay ebay?

quote: a minimum of $2.50 fvf. Well that successfully eliminates anyone selling anything under $50.? Not too sure that would work for me!

Lots of problems. No About Us page, nothing about your location or address (appears non-US), no SSL, FVF way too high, minimal search options, poor item displays, unclear payment methods, etc.

Welcome to the PSU forums and good luck with your new online auction site.
BTW, I've moved your OP from "general chat" over to "other online auction site discussion" Index.

Thanks for joining this group of online sellers and auction site owners! Very Happy

I pay $3.00 FVF on a $25.00 sale at Ebay at 12% and I think it is $2.75 at Ioffer. I prefer to pay 2% under $25.00 and 5% from $25.00 on up.

$2.50 flat rate fee on a $6.00 item is rediculous. Most sellers have items for sale under $10.00 so don't expect much of a "Buzz" about your site. Not worth all the work it will take to move inventory from one site to another. Traffic on a new site is killer alone.

Good Luck!
