This goes along with all the postings lately on"what site do you like?", "where are you listing now?", etc. After much thought, I have decided to put all my emphasis and stuff on 3 sites: Yahoo, Onlineauction and Webidz. The last 2 merely because I already have all my things there, but Yahoo because I feel they have the most potential, the ability to attract millions and if enough of us get behind them, perhaps someday they can truely challenge Goliath! Wink As for the other sites I'm on, I shall just leave my things there until the site closes or the things sell. As long as it is free to leave them there, it's just another fishing line in the big Internet pond Very Happy

PS...I'm getting sick of all of this! I have spent almost a year of my life listing, with VERY little to show for it! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

PP, you're not in that boat alone. A bunch of us have spent the last year working, really working, with a few venues in concentrated groups. The efforts have yet to pay off...and I'm not sure that they ever will.

My personal answer: I'm building and marketing my own stores.

While the monetary compensation for this past year has been horrific, the education is priceless.

I'm going to work the season at: 'Bay and Yahoo. I'll be at BiddersNSellers, too. They're doing alright for a brandy new site. I may consider other places that offer free listings and excel bulk loading.

Rather than devote my energy to making someone elses business a success, I''m channeling my energy into my own enterprises. This means that I'm eliminating partners (translate: keeping more profits) and assuming complete control of my success.

I'm tired of being at the mercy of venues with cr@ppy customer care, busted up software and lack luster performance.

I am sooooo over places that promise to work toward success flat lining after a few weeks. Some just dried up and blew away.

I've never been one to wait for someone to do something for me that I can do for myself. I learned my lesson and am finished looking for the "Next Great Venue".
