speaking of dimview, i would loved to see him tackle last weeks newbies and the war about you know what....
whether you agree, or disagree with him, he is the master at producing facts and figures.
i truly believe he would hav scared a few people awy last week.

Well, speaking of Dimview, s/he and clique are at another chat board bashing PSU and its members, and in particular this thread.

Frankly, I am happy to see that Bidville is attempting to make improvements and To get on msnbc is quite an accomplishment.

mojavelyn - it seems that it was a press release that was sent out, MSNBC didn't actually do a 'story' on Bidville, at the bottom of the report was this:

"This release contains statements that constitute forward-looking statements. These statements appear in a number of places in this release and include all statements that are not statements of historical fact regarding the intent, belief or current expectations of the Company, its directors or its officers with respect to, among other things: (i) the Company's financing plans; (ii) trends affecting the Company's financial condition or results of operations; (iii) the Company's growth strategy and operating strategy; and (iv) the declaration and payment of dividends. The words "may," "would," "will," "expect," "estimate," "anticipate," "believe," "intend," and similar expressions and variations thereof are intended to identify forward-looking statements. Investors are cautioned that any such forward-looking statements are not guarantees of future performance and involve risks and uncertainties, many of which are beyond the Company's ability to control and that actual results may differ materially from those projected in the forward-looking statements as a result of various factors."

That is included in all of Bidville's press releases. Self generated news sent out to various news sources.

I usually bypassed a lot of what Dimview had to say and ignored it. I was worried about the effect he might have on new PSU members, but he was only one voice and most of the postings gave a variety of views. I don't like it when sites are bashed. And he did have a particular problem with Bidville, but Bidville will speak for itself. The boards are active, there seems to be a renewal of interest in the site among sellers and anticipation of good things ahead, if not immediately -- which, unfortunately, will not happen anywhere, times being what they are.

IMHO, Bidville is doing what Bidchaser is not. They've regrouped and revamped and improved. They are putting their money where their mouth is. I'm think I tend to lump these two sites together because they both went through some really rough times and a lot of mismanagement and both have had so much promise. Both revamped, but one is actually doing it and doing it fast and efficiently and the other is not. The boards at both sites reflect how sellers feel -- one positive and one hopeful but not that optimistic.
