Thanks for the supportive comments and wishes. We do have a strong eBay presence (http://stores.ebay.com/the-Old-Topo-Depot) and have starting listing on Yahoo as well.
I have developed a full custom integration package for eBay so that status information about our items there automatically appears in our internal workflow management system. So, when we sell an item, an order appears in our internal system.
I have found the eBay interface performance to be quite good for the most part. I'd suspect your uploader as I've revised/listed hundreds of items in three to four minutes.
Not so sure about Yahoo yet. It seems to take quite some time for new listings to appear properly in search results, and the bulk upoload is definitely not unattended until the final button is pushed. I have not experienced a per listing screen, and I did manage to get abut 500 listings to go in a single upload.
As for Bidville's BE, I'm hoping to be able to directly integrate with Bidville soon as we do with eBay, since we already have most of the infrastructure in place for item management, and, in comparison, BE require a user to do the driving.
We have enough in place so that our store auto restocks itself as items expire/sell an so on so that we can focus on delivering the highest quality map prints possible
It'll be interesting to see how these sites fare over time.
Best,
