IMO, searching in GBase is 'incomplete' Carol, and I've had the same/similar results. In the latest information I've found, froogle will not go away - not in the planned near or far future. GBase is intended to be a tool that feeds google, and they do see limitations in both - make sense?

Stumbled upon this again today, and wondered.....I got the strangest email last week from a wonderfully nice person - needing a phone number for Western Pride.

Long story short, I have some Western Pride bathroom faucets for sales. So - out to the inventory I go, look all over the box, the inside paperwork, etc. - no phone number.

Back to the computer I come, and look high/low - no phone # for the company using google, yahoo, other - so I reply and share I had no luck finding the company's phone #.

I never thought about 'how' this many found me or knew I had this type of product - lookie here...

Search for Western Pride Faucet results in:

I know Carol - I had no idea when the question came how they found me. It came 'direct' vs. thru the ask a question and I just tried to help (cuz that's how I was raised).

What's most interesting is this is an item on Yahoo Auctions, which tells me they're feeding google and googlebase some how...
