I wonder if there is an updated list of alt auction sites that I've missed? The list here has multiple dead auction sites. I'd really appreciate any help.
I've joined several alts and there are several I won't join that charge per month fees. Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate any help. |

A rather extensive current list is available in my spreadsheet, along with other sites (some forums, searches, webhosts, resources, things that seemed noteworthy to me) with for many notes, my impressions, fees, links to posts mainly on this forum (the links work if you get the excel or open office version). Once you d/l it, you will be able to sort and filter (Data - Filter - Auto Filter) and make your OWN notes in your own sheet (I would recommend inserting a column to the far left and put notes there). Whenever I upload an updated version I change my signature so you can see that anywhere I post.
Follow the link in my signature.
Another resource more current that this thread might be www.kenzy.com - that cat has sites listed I still have not found time to check. Mostly I have been following up on active and new sites I come across on this forum and some other places. |

Hi I own the site above and want to make it a community-run auction site. I am currently inviting people interested in becoming founding members to join and help me develop the website. Founding members will have lifetime free accounts in exchange for their participation, and if they help with web design/programing or legal issues we will discuss monetary payment as well. I will select 5 founding members. If you are interested please contact me. Or if you would like to get 200 free listings and help start the community head on over and create an account!
here is a little more info:

I've looked into many of the auction sites and they never really captured my interest as a venue to sell from. Why? Because they all look like "retail sites" rather than true auction sites - I find them unappealing as many buyers probably do. I've signed up to sell on OnlineAuction and they/we are in the process of a radical national campaign to attract sellers - anyone intested? If so click on the link in my signature below for details - it's worthwhile - promise. Could be a whole new era for internet sellers - |

Another site which I listed on a couple of months back and had a few sales from is
www.pinkauctions.tv or HTTP://WWW.SHEILASDEALS.NET
(both the same site)
Pleasant looking site, free listing, low fvfs, and they are starting to advertise in Woman and Womans Own magazines this month.
Mainly aimed at womens items, but they also have a section called ''gifts for him'', which covers other items. |

I thought there would be updates - but who has time to read 278 posts to find all the changes. Is there a updated list somewhere else that I am missing?? |

Ah, that is a daunting task you inquire about. www.kenzy.com is the site the list is based on, and I believe kenzy keeps it updated.
The link in my signature to Spreadsheet of Alternative Sites will lead you to a resource which I personally vouch is current starting this February and continuing to this date (though I have not updated since 31 March (as it says). My signature will change the next time I upload an updated copy. I also said this in post #272 further up this page. I do sympathize with 'who has time to read' - that's why I made the spreadsheet (I needed a place to make notes as I realized how large the alternative marketplace is) and that is why I chose to share it with all of you.
The other links in my signature also lead to places I considered to be the most useful to others... |
