I had my first sale on Base via a Buy It Now button on 10/3. Had my settings set to flat fee, as always, and it worked perfectly, the correct amount was collected.

I was adding a few things today, and noticed that my settings had changed (on their own!!), there is no way to add shipping amounts now with the Buy It Now buttons. You can add a type, but not an amount.

Then started browsing the Checkout Help section, and found this statement:

Can I specify tax and shipping rates for items I sell using Buy Now buttons?
Not at this time. You may only specify tax and shipping rates via the Google Checkout API.

Jeez, these guys just make it up as they go, and don't tell anyone about the changes. I am just going to put "ground shipping included, please email for expedited shipping quote".

Like I have nothing better to do other than revise Base listings....muahahahaha!
