What program are you using to process payment on Yahoo? I am looking at cutting cost and was looking at options on what everyone is using to process payments from buyers. Paypal via paypal invoice? What program (how do you process payments)?

Morning! I use Paypal to generate all invoices, no matter which venue I sell on. This works well for me, as all my records are in one place!

And yes, I use the PP invoice tool! Hope this helps ya! Very Happy Wink

I use PP, but send my own personal invoice regardless of where I am selling. It gives all the information I want the buyer to have.

If you're looking to cut your costs, you might want to consider
StormPay since they offer $1 or less for ALL transactions.
Sure beats the 2.9%

I'm now using the new invoice tool from Google Checkout. Til the end of the year it beats everyone - 0 + 0%.

Even with fees GC is better than PP. And it's even better than Stormpay for small payments as SP seems to have a $1 min. Not to mention GC has a better rep than SP.

Carol,
Just to clarify, StormPay's fee is 2.9% + $0.39 OR $1.00 per transaction, whichever is lower.

I don't see why not. I used it for a buyer on Bid-alot. As it's not fully integrated on sites other than Blujay and eCrater as far as I know, you would have to use the GC invoice option. But it's really easy once you do it a time or 2.

I copied the sale from B-A to the GC Message area as a way to show the buyer what the invoice was for. That also gives me a record of what the payment is for when it comes back.

OK, I had asked about that on another thread and never got an answer. But GC still will beat storm pay, as their fees will be 2% + 0.20

I used to use paypal invoices on Yaho and other sites as well, but since Google Checkout has started their invoicing option, I use it... I just automatically send an invoice! You definetely can't beat their price until the end of the year for sure! I have only had a couple buyers still request paypal when I send them a GC invoice. I think Google is such a household name that they have no probs with it!
