``It was fortunate that no one was hurt,'' said Catherine England, an eBay spokeswoman.

How did they find a real person to talk to at Ebay?????? Very Happy

I don’t condone this sort of thing but to be truthful it has only been a matter of time before someone was pushed to this kind of action.

Ebays pathetic reasoning and blatant suspension polices have wiped out many sellers life savings; not to mention homes lost & pushed many sellers to the edge of desperation…… Crying or Very sad

Glad no one got hurt...

I'm in Hawaii, ya can't pin it on me! LOL

I agree with Terry It's unfortunate that this has happened, but really Ebay has done so much devastation to the lives of buyers & sellers this isn't surprising

I'm sure there's alot of sellers who had to gets meds from what ebay pulled this summer.

Ebay Live will probably be clear bags and pat downs. Now you just know they'll go the extra mile before we get there to increase our sales and make us all happy happy. Just don't have Nico or Chris T there and I'll be OK.

I guess they reversed the charge on the wrong seller.

They either ruined a seller or fired somebody and it was an inside job. If they treat sellers pretty bad, I am sure some of the employees could tell horror stories. I'm figuring that's why nobody got hurt and it was only a window. Thank goodness! They really get on me bad side, however, I wouldn't wish harm on anyone.

Actually the way both paypal and ebay treat customers, its a wonder something like this hasn't happened before now. They've been pretty lucky - but of course so aloof they haven't noticed...

My thoughts exactly. It was only a matter of time.

Ebay/Paypal need to revaluate how they do business and treat people and have "open lines of communication".

I absolutely hate not being able to speak with a live person. Hopefully some positive change will come out of this.

Good grief, is there a NON-VIOLENT way to get the media's attention about what a piece of crap eBay and Paypal have become???

Oh and just for your reading pleasure, here's the ole Cobbman's take on the situation:

I'll skip Cobbman's article. There's only so much sweet nothing I can stand.
