Reading all the different forums, a lot of us are trying to nail down an alternate to Ebay but really haven't found a site which has worked for us yet. I wanted to post a poll which hopefully hasn't been posted before so that we can vote for the site which each of us might be getting sales on since leaving Ebay (or sales if your still at Ebay). I think it would be interesting to see who is selling where. If I missed your site, please PM me and maybe I can add it so all can be voted for.

Kiki

Don't see the area in which to vote but for me, ebay since that is where I've been a member the longest and paid the most in fees Sad

Strange, the poll was there when I made it and I voted Ebay as it has been the only place we have had any luck so far. We want to find another venue. Maybe I made the poll wrong? I have made two others that did work. Can anyone else see the poll and vote?
Kiki

The answers are going to depend, too, on whether you try to sell on any other site and how much you listed each place. My main thrust is Lowbid, so that's where I've made the most sales. I would be interested to know whaich sites are selling more to buyers rather than to other sellers.

"Where your treasure is, there also is your heart (and $$$!)" to paraphrase LOL

You're right, Becky, and I should add that I've been selling at the site and at Ioffer the longest, about 550 items on the site, and well over 1,200 on Ioffer.

Ecrater is looking hot, as is HiBidder, judging by views and Google page ranking. No time to check any other places out, not enough time!

LOL, I do not sell on eBay anymore at all, so it would have to be HB...

And several sellers there have reported getting sales through Google/Froogle search, coming from outside buyers and not just internal sellers Smile

Oh, I have to note too, I first used my website as a resource for buyers leaving eBay and only in the past few weeks started migrating resource stuff off my website (It's on my message board) and started building product pages... Through this, I have several orders pending...

I am giving the poll on more try as I think seeing the results in one place would be helpful for everyone. If I fail again, could someone please help by posting it correctly if they think it is a worthwhile poll?? Shocked

Thank you....
Kiki

Hum...no option to make the poll again below. Can only one be posted per thread?? Rolling Eyes

i started as half of a team on ebay back in the beginning of 1999. we sold like crazy. then i branched out on my own with a yahoo account & did quite well there...til they started charging fees.

Evil or Very Mad

so i fingered if i were gonna pay a fee, i'd sell on ebay, where i could get higher prices fer my stuff. so i was selling on both sites fer a while...but much less on yahoo.
