my-little-e-shop,
Might want to check out this fraud report on XCOIN...

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/287/RipOff0287332.htm

If I read that report, I would not do business with them.

I have to say of XCOIN.com that my concern with them was of a Customer Services issue.

They did in fact deal with that and in the past year I have to say the service I receive from them has been excellent.

I read the 'so called' fraud report and it is not something I am inclined to take too seriusly.

I never like anything that is signed

Anonymous
Anonymous, Maryland
U.S.A.

When Mr or Mrs Annon contacted XCOIN.com they asked to be provided with details which seems reasonable.

Mr or Mrs Annon 'my bank company advised me not to reply' that sounds unreasonable.

Thanks for the link to the article, but when you write an 'Anonymous' post you can say anything you like, about anyone you like, for any reason you like.

Perhaps they work for the sales side of another company in the same business, we will never know!

I charged less than $50 using xCoin last month and they called the phone number I provided to verify me before releasing the funds to the seller. Google hasn't called me...

1) Bidpay: http://www.BidPay.com

This service is available only for those who buy
and sell at online auctions. Buyers use their
credit or debit card to make their purchases
from you and BidPay sends you a Western Union
Money Order or the payment is directly deposited
into your checking account if you live in the
U.S.

2) CCNow: http://CCNow.com

A shopping cart solution that also allows
you to take all major credit cards without
a merchant account. They pay you your earnings
twice a month and while your money is sitting
on account it earns 1.5% APR.

3) DigiBuy: http://www.DigiBuy.com

For those who sell software. Puts you in
control of pricing, order forms, and delivery
options. Pricing varies with two service levels
to choose from. Your earnings are paid to you
monthly minus their 13.9% per transaction fee
($3.00 minimum). Digibuy allows you to accept
payments by Visa, MasterCard, Amex,Discover or
Diners Club.

4) Ikobo: http://www.IKobo.com

With merchant fees at $2.99 plus .29 per transaction,
and no extra fees for international transactions.
You can sell to buyers in 170 countries. Pay-
ments are deposited to your bank account or to
your Ikobo Visa debit card.

5) 2CheckOut: http://www.2CheckOut.com

It will run you $49.00 to open an account, then
it's .45 per sale and 5.5% of the sales amount.
Includes free shopping cart and codes to add
to your website. Will also work with your existing
shopping cart if you just need a way to take credit
card payments. Can be used for tangible or digital
download products. With 2CheckOut, you can take
payment from all credit cards and even check and
debit card payments.

6) ClickBank: http://www.ClickBank.com

A great service which I've used for years.
Good for selling digital products and comes
with a built-in affiliate program. You'll have
to pay a one time fee of $50.00, then it's only
$1.00 plus 7.5% of each transaction. Allows you
to take payments from all credit card types.

7) ShareIt: http://www.ShareIt.com

For selling software and shareware online. Your
customers can pay by credit card or debit cards
even checks. Receive your money by check or
electronic transfer to your bank account. Fees
are based per transaction with no monthly charges.

Cool ProPay: http://www.ProPay.com

Accept payments by credit card via the web or
even by phone. Funds are deposited into your
ProPay account. You can get a ProPay MasterCard
to access your funds or transfer your
earnings to your bank account. They have four
types of accounts to choose from: Basic, Premium,
Premium Plus, Platinum, with annual pricing
from $34.95 all the way up to $299.95, depending
on the features and type of account you need.

Thank you for providing this list. I have not heard of many of these, and plan to spend some time checking them out as I can. However, I did visit BidPay because it sounded familiar. Here is what I found, copy-paste from webpage I was sent to:

Effective December 31, 2007, BidPay.com, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CyberSource Corporation, discontinued operations. You have been redirected to Authorize.Net, a CyberSource payment solution that helps small businesses accept payments from e-commerce Web sites.

Tired of the hassle and fees of using PayPal? The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway can help you accept online payments quickly and affordably from your own Web site.

Here's what you need:
1) A payment gateway account and internet merchant bank account.
2) Online auction software by Auction Checkout.
*emphasis mine*

AuctionCheckout provides an alternative to PayPal for online auction payments.
* Your brand shows up on your customers' credit card statements.
* No more waiting for your money—funds are deposited automatically into your bank account.

I'm not sure exactly what an 'internet merchant bank account' entails - if it's the same as a 'merchant account' that is the usual independent alternative to using an online payment services provider. I do think I've seen the Authorize.net seal here and there, though.

Revolution Money Exchange is also available. I like this one because they place the money in your bank account for you. No worrying about transferring or cards. It's there for you to use.

Revolution Money Exchange

I believe the above site is restricted to residents of the United States.

Is that still true?

It states the money must be in US dollars only and there are restrictions on locations but nowhere did I find that it can only be used in the US

Just went and checked out Revolution Money Exchange again as a few people have sent me links to sign up no doubt as they offer a payment for new introductions,

BUT!

NOTE: To participate with Revolution Money Exchange, you must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.

Only any good to you if you live in the US and so do your customers.

I not live in the US and many of my customers do not.

Very much for the local trader in the US I think!

Here is an article that I used to change from Paypal yesterday. I went with Flagship since they are owned by Wells Fargo, have 24 hour customer service and would waive their setup fee if contacted through this article.

The chart was quite helpful in making the decision. Since they are their own underwriters it does not take 6-10 day turn around.

http://credit-card-processing-review.toptenreviews.com/

I had too many carts abandoned, orders not completed and calls from customers having to process via PP virtual terminal. I now look at PP as an barrier to selling even though shipping through them and moving funds manually to banking account I did prefer rather than each transaction going into my account.

Only time will tell, but the conversion rates I was seeing coupled with the feedback from customers indicated I was loosing business.

Your our osCommerce site, we use Authorize.net
We haven't had any problems with them yet, and their rates are pretty decent.
