Alternatives to Paypal Redux

eBay Approved
Hyperwallet is approved for eBay once again Hyperwaller (Canadian)

eBay approves of some kind of Money Order Service called Payko (never used it myself)Payko

Bidpay is back ,but service totally changed. (USA sellers only)Bidpay

Xoom is back ,but of what use is it? (Mostly just Latin America)Xoom

MoneyBookers is the ebay approved European Paypal alternative MoneyBookers

eBay Banned

Infamous E-Gold finally has some traction E-Gold

Gold Money has less of a stigma and better press then E-Gold but less tractionGold Money

Google Checkout is the wave of the future (USA only so far)

Neteller is said to be good but banned on eBay ,alot of other UK based gambling linked services seem to have alot of users. neteller.com

Firepay is accepted by alot of gambling sites and those sites are rather serious about getting paid Wink Fire Pay

Xcoin is new and on Onlineauctions.com ,I signed up( but have not used it yet. ) X-Coin

Stormpay has had alot of issues

Ebonza is not permitted on eBay under Safe Payments Policy and offering it in listings can cause the seller to have auctions halted or eventual account suspension.

While Moneybookers & Hyperwallet are currently approved for eBay use

Do all merchants in Canada and around the world accept Interac Online?

It is up to each merchant to decide which payment options they want to offer. Interac Online is available to all online merchants that do business in Canada and have a relationship with a Canadian debit/credit card processor.

Visit www.interaconline.com for a list of participating merchants and banks.

Looks to be a good choice for crossborder Americans

May want to contact Canadian branch in USA such as Scotia ,BMO ,RBC and TD and see if they offer it for USA , may also want to look into Certapay which does not involve merchant account or relationship with a provider.

Alternative is just open Canadian account in Canada and talk with beanstream

Hey...noticed that Xcoin is a valid payment option for Overstock. At least that is what shows on the site.

Its not only on Xcoin site , there is a page on the Overstock site , you have to go to the auctions page for it to show up thats how I missed it before

Overstock & Xcoin

You know Xcoin being on "Online Auctions" is not very impressive but it may have picked up some sellers that way , while being on Overstock and being elbow to elbow with eBay partner like "Auction Checkout" is fairly impresssive. Cool

Xcoin may be moving into "RC Cola" position but smart money still says Google-Checkout will be the "Pepsi" Laughing

2checkout, worldpay, ChronoPay, Moneybookers might be considered as good alternative to paypal, IMHO.

Does anyone have experience with eBillme from MODAsolutions.com? It claims to have a simple API and allows buyers to pay electronically via their bank account, just like the electronic payments with online banking. Perhaps it could be offered here as one of the VirtueMart payment options.
