Hello,

I just joined and figured the first post should be an introduction. I have a store and auction venue over on Ebay, selling stamps, new and old. I am based in Canada, with sales worldwide. I have been a member on Ebay since 1998, although I have been an active seller for about a year and a half. Over the last few months, I have been very disappointed with the direction that Ebay has taken, with delisting the stores, increasing the fees and worst of all, the decline of buyers. My sales are down 62% this month, despite increasing my store inventory by 150 items. I am hoping that through Power Sellers Unite, I can learn more about the marketing side of online auctions, and perhaps find a new venue.

Thanks for the venue and I look forward to being a contributor.

Many thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad,

Welcome to PSU and good luck to you. Sorry to hear about your Ebay woes. I'm from Canada too. I sell watches and clocks. Don't give up. Things will get better.

Welcome -

The people here are friendly and helpful. I'm sure you'll find good info with plenty of people around to help answer questions, etc.

Glad to see you are exploring options outside of eBay.

Hello fellow Canuck

Yes eBay is in trouble , all of us have had woes on eBay lately and eBay Canada sellers have unique problems which makes it even worse. (high shipping, currency costs, compete with USPS ect.)

I would reccomend FREE ONLINE CLASSFIEDS , as a must , to draw in a few sales without fee's

For sale of sundry or common items I have seen sales with more hits then eBay ,and prices approach double , without fee's.
