Personally, I would tell him to use a postal money order.

I wouldn't be too terribly concerned about the PP frozen account as we've been seeing a whole lot of that garbage from PP lately.

Or you could offer him the Google Checkout invioce. But I think the money order would be the best in this case.

Money Orders are great , learn the basic detection methods like security features and watermarks and your bank policy and should be ok and avoid 9 out of ten scammers.

Always a risk of chargebacks but if take precautions it should be fine

Could request bank certified cheque? I know in Canada this is often a cheaper option for buyers and less of a hassle but I'm not sure how it works in the USA and if its secure.

I responded back, that seeing this is the situation. Postal money order please. Lets see how this works out. I've never heard someone say this. Check or money order but to come out and tell me this. Whew! Why not just say can I pay money order? Scares a seller off.
thanks for your help. LadyJ

The fact that this buyer came forward and disclosed their paypal problems indicates to me this is most likely an honest and trustworthy person. I agree with the others here who suggested a money order payment.

If in doubt, you can always request they provide you with a US postal money order so you can take it to your postmaster for cashing / verification before you send the product.

Good advice above!

I take USPS Money Orders all the time and haven't had any problems, so far.
Your buyer is not alone reference PP and the so-called service they provide.

Remember too when taking U.S.P.S. Money Orders You Can cash them @ the Post office right before shipping buyers purchase. I do this all the time.

I would advise U.S.P.S. Money Orders only & make sure you cash them at the P.O. before you ship the item and or use the M.O. to pay for the shipping. The reason I advise to cash them first is there are some really great looking phoney U.S.P.S. M.O.'s out there they will FOOL your bank but they do not pass the scanning they do at the P.O. .

Thank you kindly. I have not heard words from her since I wrote the other day. She is slowly dragging this out for weeks. Plus, Ioffer is a mess. So its hard to accuse anyone of not replying. LOL
Thanks, LadyJ

Always only ship once the money is in your wallet.

Well not always the case when using Paypalsucks!
