I wonder if the 15 cents listing fee which has to be paid every 21 days if not sold will discourage sellers with low-cost items from using your service. Perhaps a longer time limit would help. Those with high-value items and good profit margins will not find that so much of a problem.

People change e-mail addresses frequently so I also wonder if canceling an account automatically if there is any returned e-mail would be fair and wise. ISPs also have difficulties sometimes which cause e-mails to bounce. How does your system know what is the cause of the e-mail being rejected? Perhaps if you use the snail-mail address to act as a back-up in case of an e-mail failure would be best. Even a phone call could clear up things like that for the honest seller. Skype charges only 2 cents a minute so a call is not too costly as opposed to losing a good seller and all his listings.

While 15 cents/ listing doesn't sound high compared to eBay, a new site can't compare itself to eBay for traffic. You need to look at what many of the other alt sites are doing as you are their competitor, not eBay's.

Many of us here absolutely will NOT pay "up front" fees for any site. I'll pay a reasonable FVF sure, as then I have sold something and you deserve a share.

I don't know for sure but I also got a spam letter this morning that I deleted. It was also from India for a company wanting to re-do and host my web site FOR A PRICE. Sorry but I JUST renewed my web host last week.

Sorry but many of us here have been around the block several times with the eBay fees and know our way around the internet. I don't need someone to re-write a site that is doing quite well right now as it is. I also can go with at least 3 forums that will help me do a ZenCart if I really want to do a site re-write.

sorry the people is right I wouldn't mind paying .15 cents or .25 cents if my item sold but your fees are too high I would prefer ebay over there

Look to other models here on PSU or even use the Amazon Market place concept taking your commission when our items sell

Seems like every year around the time of the eBay fee hikes/boycotts, the new sites come out of the woodwork so to speak. Way too many of them have been a real waste of time and/or outright scammers.
