Is googlecheckout your only payment method?

Make sure you follow this step in the readme.txt that comes with the module

MODIFICATIONS For VirtueMart 1.1.x. (file edits)

The files in this folder:
/components/com_virtuemart/themes/default/templates/*
Have already been modified for 1.1.0. Just copy those files and
remove the extension .vm1.1.x off the end of the file name....

Is there a quick way I can add the google checkout button underneath the "Google Checkout" option in the list billing options page? And have that essentially advance in the cart to the confirmation page for google checkout cutomers?

note really because the other payment methods in the list you have to select the radio button next to it to select it. If you show the button it people will click on it instead of selecting the radio button and then the rest of the virtuemart checkout will be skipped.

still have the same issue cant get to see the button with googlecheckout

Check joomla to see if your sessions directory is writable.

You like you can make me a temp super admin account and I will take a closer look.

I have exactly the same problem...i.e. the thankyou page is coming up etc. but not going through to google checkout to pay. I am using joomla 1.5.7. I have activated legacy mode. Do I needto do the changes to the files as listed above?

I have set the sessions directory to writable but googlecheckout button isn't showing

when i use the ioncube encoded googlecheckout.php i get cart error about ioncube loader so i have test my ioncube with ...helper.php and its install and workin fine.

I seem to be having the same problem. I am using vm 1.1.2 with joomla 1.5. I have followed all the directions in the readme including replacing the list_payment_methods.tpl.php and the shop.cart.tpl.php files with the ones in the package. I made sure my tmp directory was writable and ioncube said it was installed successfully.

Basically the fast checkout buttons work great but during normal checkout it seems to not show the button after the "Please click on the Google Checkout button to complete checkout" line after confirming the order.

I am going to be using 2 payment options so the google checkout option isn't really an option. I have tried the auto-redirect option and that isn't working either it seems.

You can look at the site at http://www.happyrobottemplates.com and if you need a temp account just let me know. The site isn't complete yet so it's not a big deal that we can't take google checkout yet.

What other payment options are you offering? Also are you skipping any steps in checkout and are they in the default order?

I am also offering paypal. And I am skipping the shipping method page and the shipping information page since our site is completely digital delivery.
