Hi,I became a Powerseller 6 months ago but now I really have had enough with the latest ebay's 'policies'.... I waited for my listings to end and I do not intend to relist anything anymore.
I sell musical instruments, anyone knows the best sites to sell such items?
I am going to try eBid.....any other ones?
Thanks and all the best |

hi purple_
thank you for the good suggestions. I too was thinking about getting my own website, but I basically would have to become a business, right?
I mean,I would have to accept credit cards, etc
I am reading a 'business for dummies' book....in the meantime I'll also check out all the sites that you mentioned. Thanks and all the best |

well I just have a finite number of items....about 8 of them. They are high-value items worth about $ 1000 each. What's the best way to sell on my website?
What should I offer as payment method? Is Google Checkout less 'risky' than Paypal, for selling?
I have heard so many bad things about Paypal...I am scared that I might sell one of these valuable items and get scammed in the form of a chargeback, etc.
I don't know where to start from....any suggestions? thanks |

Hi, I know what you mean about ebay's fees and searching for alternatives. I'm the owner of http://gear-vault.com/classifieds and we're dedicated at keeping the site Free. You can also make your own featured store on there too for free. It's a growing community and a nice circle of friendly folks. You should stop by and check it out. It won't cost you anything
Hope to see you there |
