Rolling Eyes I've had a problem being notified of a payment received through PayPal. I checked my profile listing and somehow my notification preference had been changed to no notification. I had sold an item through Yahoo and was not notified by Yahoo or PayPal. The customer finally contacted me and said she had paid for the item and wanted to know when I would mail it. When I checked my PayPal account the payment was just sitting there waiting for me! I haven't had any problems since I changed the setting in my profile preferences with PayPal. I still check PayPal and have learned not to rely on notification systems.

Well PayPal can really be a problem. I haven't checked my prefs there, but the fact that I'm getting SOME email shows that they know to send them and where. They just aren't sending ALL of them.

I never get Pay Pal paid invoiced anymore. I changed to the no HTM text; got it 2 days now nothing. I talked to pay pal, they say its my fault. I talk to Yahoo and they say get a yahoo email, but people on here said they told them not to get a Yahoo email account. LOL I just check every few hours my pay pal. Shocked

Also, do not relist, its a glitch, just check back in 5 minutes and if it comes back in the relist, the second time is a charm. Don't waste your time. That been happening.

I have to admit with Marty. Its still doing great for sales. I just try my best to blow it off (after I swear under my breath). Laughing I agree; when will they do some upgrading?

Has anyone else noticed all the disappearing pictures? At first they were just gallery pictures, but now I notice pictures disappearing from auction page as well-not just mine, but quite a few sellers when I browsed through a few categories. The description is talking about a picture that's not there, so apparently the seller thought there was one posted!

No, I noticed the gallery pictures, but then you would click and the big picture would be there. I did notice when I went to relist, they are slow to come up or not. So I went and fixed a few. Thank you for this update.

Well, it looks as though it may have temporarily.

BT Yahoo mail over here is down big time, or at least the accounts side is.

I cannot access any of my 7 mail accounts through bt due to the server being well and truely screwed up. According to bt, some idot is sending MILLIONS of spam mails and its crashed there servers. Now we home hub and bt users have got to go through bt yahoo to get into our accounts. What a pain in the preverbial

I have been talking about this Spam nut on Yahoo section over here. This person is driving me nuts. I gets tons every day. I have talked to Yahoo repeatedly, I get the same email, take the others bid. Its no bid I tell them its spam. One lady reported 238 in one day! My blacklist over there is a mile long. They refuse to do anything about it. The person in China even leaves their email and web address. Its so easy for them to investigate. Can't they do anything? Shocked

For the sake of fairness, I've noticed that in the past week both YAHOO and PAYPAL seem to have gotten their acts together.

Paypal is back to sending payment made notifications and YAHOO has sent me 'auction closed-with winning bidder' notifications. Also, PP has really impressed me with the payments I'm receiving through my website shopping cart.

Also, YAHOO seems to have gotten better with the automatic 'relist' feature. Foir awhile, my 'auctions' were closing and I was manually relisting.

Hopefully I didn't jinx anything by mentioning it!

Im still not getting 90% of my pay pal notices when people pay. I wish i could say the same.

No problem with relisting.

No, I don't believe in Jinx, except when I say I haven't had a cold in a while. Then I get one. LOL
