From Google main search page I click on the Shopping link, enter item I am searching for, click on Product Search button, a bunch of search result pics line up on the left, I click on one of the pics item title link and I am taken to the personal website page for that item.
This is what I want to do with about 3-5 items in my personal website store - I want it so that when you see the pic on the left and click on the item's description link my website's item page opens up.
Can I do this and how do I do this? I have visited and looked at all the google product base pages and there does not seem to be a way to do this - in the one-at-a-time listing method (which would be for my purposes) it only offered to show a link - not to actually display the actual item page from my website. Or does it? Am I missing something?
Thanks! |

thanks wp, I had seen the data feed thing but I did not think it applied to me and the few items I wanted to put up, but I'll go ahead and try it out...
hopefully, google has a preview window before you submit the csv file because I am a newbie at this type of formatting and might need to bail out before submitting
thanks again! |

'fraid not, you have to check beforehand. When you do the file be sure to carefully follow all of the instructions because the process is not very forgiving. |

boy, I'll say - I set up the excel page like the one in the video example and found out after that it needs to have 13 attribute columns (I only had 6) so I have to go back now and think of attribute names in addtion to the obvious ones like name, links, price (you are allowed to change the names of the ones they give you) ...I am up to 11 attributes, need 2 more...
there really is a lot of room for mistakes - can see why a lot of small time newbie site owners like me would be scaredy cats about this.
gonna take a breather, take a fresh look and dive in soon I am sure. |
