When I was looking for Merchant Accounts I looked at Costco. They have a very well done high-end merchant account designed for on-line business. I think it was about $59 a month plus modest transaction fees. But the thing that impressed me was that they were using the very best payment processors.

Might be worth looking at. I am sure you will have to have impeccable credit to qualify.

I'm curious how long you've been using Costco's. Here's my experience:
I've been using them for over 2 years, in the beginning, I was attracted by their low rate, 1.99% as advertised, and in order to get monthly fee waived, I upgraded to Costco Executive memership for $100 a year, and pay approx. $180 as a one time fee for the software since we don't use terminal. But later realized the 1.99% is only for "qualified" cards, well, it turned out that most of the payments we receive do not qualify, and every few months, they will raise the fee, I'm just looking at our last month statement, 30% of our sale are "non-qualified" and they charged 3.69%, plus $0.31 per transaction, which is too high. So it's time for us to look for alternative. Can anyone recommend a good merchant account. Thanks!!
