If you have anything positive to say about Ioffer post here.

Been there slightly a month and have sold some items with 100% paid rate. My fees were half of what my Ebay fees would have been for the same items. I like the FVF on shipping shoudl cutr down on the people who profit on their shipping.

Seems like everyone wants a site with free listings, free fvf, fast servers, immediate customer reponse, this stuff cost money and a site needs revenue to offer these things.

Been selling there for several years with very little issues.

Zero issues with CS. They have always responded within 24 hours.

No problems getting customer to pay. NPB percentage is comparable to eBay's.

I would recommend them to anyone sick of paying to list items.

You will need to pay FVF's, but you should have to pay for the service you have received! Nothing in life is FREE.

Heres some positives. I am positive the feds will shut down this site. I am positive that they will be sued by the same companies who are suing ebay. I am positive that this site is corrupted. I am positive that most of their listings are counterfeits. I am positive that soon this site will shut down and move to China.

The feds are not going to shut down iOffer, just like eBay isn't going to get shut down. Shut down for what? Everything that sells on iOffer is for sale on eBay and most of the auction/marketplace sites listed here on PSU. Maybe they all need to get shut down.

Sued? Well that will probably happen. Everybody can sue everybody, so I am sure iOffer and any other venue that sells anything that is controlled by their manufacturer will get some papers served.

Corrupt? No more than eBay. They are in it to make money, like eBay.

Well, I myself am smart enough to stay away from counterfeits on both eBay and iOffer. Are you?

Why would they move to China? To use their poorly developed internet technology?

The Chinese sellers sell on eBay, just like any other venue.

All I can say is that I have spent years on iOffer, haven't had my money stolen, haven't received a counterfeit item, have sold hundreds of items (NOT COUNTERFEIT), been paid for most of the items I have sold and have been doing just fine just like a few million other buyer and sellers.

Buyers and Sellers can make up their own minds based on their personal experience, and not your rants.

I don't sell as many items per month as I do on eBay, but I am not paying to list my items on iOffer either.

Have a great weekend.

-Tom

Just made another sale for a $20.00 item as I was writing my last post. Yippee!! That is another $6-$8 profit into my paypal account Razz.

I think that is 8 items sold since Thursday night.

Have a good one!

Since this is a positive thread and there are enough negative threads why doesn't everyone just ignore any negative comments made and respond only to the positives. They only want to get your goat.

I'm just curious, but does iOffer have a feedback system like eBay? If so, what happens when buyers don't pay and you file for the FVF's?

I'm not trying to be negative, just wondering as I'm thinking about joining. I thought this would be a good place to ask, since you're all on iOffer.

I must say it is about the best looking site alternative to eBay for sure.

I have been on ioffer for 4 years and have loved it. I get sales every day, buyers pay, and i pay only if i sell so only pay for results. I havent had much luck with the non paying bidder program and final value fees..it is a bit drawn out and hard to use, but all in all, it is a very good site. I do not have very many non payers.Very happy there. Have never had problems.

iOffer's feedback is same as ebay's. If buyer doesn't pay, tell customer service and they will credit your account with fvf. I don't know if you can file non-payer strike.

I've been on iOffer for years and I love it.

Have there been warts, yes. Are the warts being removed, yes.

iOffer was running along at a pace equal to ebay's pace when ebay first started. For those of you that don't remember, ebay had warts too in the beginning. It seems everyone compares iOffer to ebay. It not ebay and it doesn't have ebay money.

I first joined in 2003. I didn't have many sales at first. I had to work my site and build a following. Most people who are successful on almost any site nowadays have to work to succeed.

Comparing iOffer to blujay is like comparing apples to oranges. Blujay is still tiny compared to iOffer. As a site grows, it has growing pains. The bigger it gets, the bigger the pains. In the fall of 2006, iOffer tried to update it's site. The site collapsed and had real problems for a year.

In October 2007, I began to see a turn around. iOffer smoothed it's rough edges although it was still slow. My sales really started to pick-up. iOffer traffic is really picking up. It appears their software is working although it is still a little slow and still has some warts to be removed.

What bothers me most, are the people that come on here just to slam the site. You have to wonder who these people really are. Blah, blah, blah.

Hang in there iOffer. I like what you are doing with your site and look forward to your new ideas.
