I used to be a powerseller and now I sell completely off line. I BUY online.
It's more advantageous to be a buyer then a seller online, at least with ebay.
All of my sales are locally. I use local community papers, dailies, and online classifeds. I charge the customer nothing for shipping, they get to see the merchandise and test it to their satisfaction right there, I avoid fraud and scams, don't have to put up with negative feedback and get paid in cash.

Pretty nice compared to Ebay's worsening conditions.

Has anyone else replaced much , most or all of their ebay sales with alternatives? My proportions of sales are roughly: Craig's List 90%, Community paper/website, 5%, Other online 2%, Daily local paper 3%.

How 's your alternative to Ebay sales going percentagewise?

We are surprised no one has answered you considering the number of folks who use the alternatives here. Must be the holiday/vacation season. We tried some of the alternatives but most brought few sales even after months of trying. There are sites that are better for certain types of goods. Etsy for handmade, ola has a ton of sports cards. From what we've read here on PSU, ebay, amazon and your own site feeding to google seem to be the best options for making money, especially if it's a full time business.

Ugh. I just typed a long post that didn't post, and I don't want to rewrite all of it. But a guesstimate of my percentages would be:

Wagglepop ~ 70%

Amazon ~ 20%

eBay ~ 5% or less (a lot worse lately)

edited to add: I left out a lot of other sites that only bring in an ocassional sale.
