I just had my first sale on iOffer today! Now, I'll be REALLY excited if the buyer pays for the item. I've been on iOffer since February 18th. It's pretty exciting, but yet, it sure has taken a long while. I think patience does pay off, and if we list on enough sites, the sales will eventually come. The key may be to underprice comparable items that are on eBay....if it's at all possible. We need to appeal to buyers by offering better prices elsewhere...otherwise buyers will stay with eBay, because it's their comfort zone. We have to appeal to their wallets, especially with gas prices and groceries steadily rising. |

And that's the problem! I've had over 25 deadbeats so good luck to get paid. |

Yes, I'm reserving any real "hoorah's" until the buyer makes payment. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I intend to offer the best customer service I can possibly provide, no matter where I sell, and I hope I get that opportunity with this sale. |

I tried selling there and, all I got was a bunch of emails with offers basically wanting the item for nothing and some even expected free shipping. If I wanted offers then I would have listed it as "Make Offer". Even if someone would have made a reasonable offer I would have considered it however, when I get offers for $20 to $40 less and, then want something shipped priority for $4.00 that would cost close to $10.00 I just do not have time for that.
Also found to many folks selling fakes and illegal copy's of DVD's. Even when reported they still are allowed to continue to sell.
For now I will stay with eCrater and Amazon. |

My sales are really picking up and not just from members but from buyers that are finding iOffer.
I have a buyer from Australia that wants me to order for her. |

I tried selling on iOffer for just over a year... had 15 listings... I received no traffic, no questions, no buys... and then, about the time I signed up for OLA, I finally got a single soap order... I was pretty happy until I saw that they combined the item price with the postage price to determine the FVF... I did get paid right away though... lol... and then I took everything off of there and put my 'eggs' into my own website (under construction) and OLA... |

I am on OLA too.
The thing is you really have to have lots of listings for the most part I think to make people take your store seriously.
I sell new things and I hope that there will be alot of stores on there that sell new things too. |

I popped onto I-Offer on the Fleecebay Smackdown May 19th. I have had 3 sales and I am negotiating 2. I am satisfied that if the course of Fleecebay remains the same, the variety for Xmas shopping will be on I-Offer & the sites directly on down the line. Work your booths, tweak your pricing, it's all there. jmho |

i do get about 28 sales last month there.
what i think is, ioffer is made for those who sell on ebay (I have 300 unique items so around 1000 listing/week) and just transfer whatever there otherwise, if you just post 30 then it's just a waste of time when you are competing with thousands of items, sorry but IMO.
I also thing they are fair to charge a fee because, hey, to me it's free money with much much effort! |

Hi everyone!
I certainly wouldn't say I've had great sales, but I have had some sales. In total I think I've had 13 sales in two months, of which 3 turned out to be non payers, and I had one charge back from a paypal user. SO...I can't say I'm terribly impressed so far.
I dont have many body jewelry listings on Ioffer, but the same number of listings on ebay typically generated roughly 300-350 monthly sales, so I've recently decided to go back to ebay sales after boycotting their new policies for nearly past 4 months.
I'm also a member of ecrater, ebid, epier and ola, but as of this time Ioffer and ebay are the only two online sites I sell on. Since all of ebay's recent and upcoming changes, I've been devoting alot of time and effort building my local sales by getting my body jewelry on display in as many high traffic convenience stores (commission sales), which has been paying of handsomely. Now I am working on getting a vendors license in two surrounding states to branch out local sales.
For me, I found that being active in targetted Ioffer groups really helped views and sales, but just didnt have the time to devote chatting and networking in groups regularly. |

I just had a sale a few days ago on ioffer, had some trouble invoicing the buyer but finally got one sent, and now all 49 of my items are gone and my account is under review. Has anyone else gone through this with ioffer? No contact frome them, just poof!!!!....everything's gone after 2 sales in 6 months. Feedback has been left by both myself and the buyer on the first sale and the second sale just happened and has not been completed yet. I had less than $5.00 in accumulated fees and ioffer doesn't charge your c.c. on file until you reach $5.00, so I have absolutely no idea what happened. And if, after I've been "reviewed" and they let me know what happened, do I have to relist every single item all over again? Any help would be appreciated. I tried posting to ioffer forums, but of course, I'm blocked from even asking a question. Thanks in advance. |
