I'm having one Saturday from 10 am - 1 pm PST, I think that's 12-3 Central but who can tell? Anyway, I'm still uploading stuff, hope to have at least fifty items by then. Some pretty nice women's clothing coming up, and who knows what else?

I am new on BONANZLE and I scheduled an BONANZA for the next Saturday.
I don't know what will happen, but I loved this site.

1. It's very easy to make your lists there.
2. The people (buyers/sellers) are very very friendly.
3. The managers talk with you and answer your questions so courteously and quickly !!!!

Everything different of the greed feEbay and their rude employees! Evil or Very Mad

I have other sites, but I loved Bonanzle and I hope they get success quickly !
I am still putting my items there, but I should finish on this weekend (I hope so) ! Embarassed

Have a wonderful day for all ! Very Happy

C.Engelke

So, any ideas this would be so big? I wonder if there have been any other sites with this big a bang. If you can keep up, this will be enormous for sure.

Congrats!

Say, has anyone been chiming in on the eBay forums? I have a few times with stats and then others ask what I am talking about.

Since Bidzinger launched its website this past Wednesday on the 27th, in TWO days they have OVER 500 listings and 7 registered users. They may see something big as well in the upcoming months.

Are you trying to spam this thread? Sorry, but bidzing is a template site that has no hope. Those 7 are probably relatives. I think those template sites come with some users and listings. They all have the same items listed when they start out.

You have low posts, so I'm guessing you're a spammer. Not cool.

@lowcoststore: Big congrats! If you can keep registering 7 users every two days for the next 100 years, you'll have (looks around for calculator...), um, a whole lot of users! If the Internet is still around! Yee haw!

@Sitting: I added options to the item search page today so that you can see pages of 50 or 100 items. This should make it easier to browse now that inventory is over 20k.

All: I think that most sites obfuscate their item and user stats to make it difficult to determine their growth rate, so I'm not exactly sure how our growth compares to other sites, but I believe it's pretty darned good.

Bill

OK, so I got a little curious about how we *do* measure up to other sites as we approach the end of this brief beta period, and came up with some surprising (for me) stats.

As previously mentioned, this month our traffic is on pace to be about 5x what it was in July.

If we increase our traffic by just 2x next month over what it is now, we would have more unique visitors than Tazbar, Wagglepop, cqout, ePier, or OnlineAuction. We would have about the same uniques as Blujay.

Unfortunately, we would still have less than eBay. (<-- online sarcasm)

All estimations made using compete.com, which from all I've heard, is pretty accurate.

Still a long ways to go, but with the PSU community on our side, I don't doubt that some pretty amazing things could happen!

I have banked on Bonanzle at this point to be a winner, at the very least through the end of the year. Now if I could just sell something...but that's true on all sites, not just Bonanzle. I'm still formulating next year's business plan but as of now BZ is a big part of it.

It's funny, too. Back in January, when planning this year's layout, I had determined that tomorrow, the Saturday before Labor Day, I would launch 200 auctions on ebay via Auctiva. I had some merchandise already, high dollar stuff, and would spend the summer getting more. Instead, I dumped what I had early to get the cash back and spent the summer looking for alternate sites. Ah, well. Ebay didn't want my money anyway.

Ask and you shall receive. Wow, I didn't expect a change so soon.

Oh, give it a couple more months and you'll pass eBay I'm sure Wink

I don't really know if any of the other sites grew so fast. It's sure impressive.
