I received an interesting phone call from Ebay this morning, wanting to tell me all about how they are reducing fees, and how I might want to move some of my store listings (at .03) to the main pages (at .35). And if I offer free shipping over the holidays, power sellers will receive double discount on FVF.

She offered to send an email with a checklist of things I might want to do to change my listings. She did not ask if I had any opinion or comment about the changes. Guess they don't want to know!

This is an absolute first. Ebay has NEVER called me about anything in the 10 years I've been selling there. This change must be very important to them for some unknown reason.

Desperation is the key to this. They have continually called me and my husband.................roflmao. There will be a blizzard in Hades, and a black hole that absorbs the earth before even a thought of returning to that Den of Thieves!!

FeEbay treat serious and honest sellers as nasty hogs, only because we are small/medium sellers. They are terrible and I had many nightmares with them. feEbay NEVER MORE !

I am astonished that they are going on the reverse way of the American economy ! Now we have a fragile economic moment and feEbay is destroying the small or medium business. I already read about many people bankrupted due to feEbay and PreyPal.
It is crazy !!!!

They called us too - though we do have a TSAM (Top Seller Account Mgr), that was not who contacted us. HE hasn't had the guts since April...

Meanwhile, this well meaning eBay-ophyte (not her fault she has to toe the co. line)...
Spent some time trying to convince us that the consigned items we handle would do better fixed price with free shipping.
When we finished laughing, we basically gave them an earful about how we did not appreciate their "acting for our own good", thank you very much - as if that WERE in fact what they were doing - and spoke at length on each subject (FB, no M.O.s, absurd fee increases, who were they kidding with free shipping being for OUR benefit, etc.) Have they READ the message boards?? Yes, she replied sheepishly, we have.
And..? (no reply...)

She then ended the call "promising" to pass on our comments to her supervisor.

Right. Like they care...

THIS 8500 FB+ 99.8% PS has had quite enough. I am over paying them avg of $2K month fees to prop up their socialist control site.
